7: Threatened

Elandra just smirked and being proud of herself for being such a smart and genius one. Well, she is really smart since she was born and that is one of her skills that Elaine insecured a lot from her because no matter how she tries, Elandra still is smarter than her but still she didn't hear any complainst from their parents.

"Okay, because vacation is already done. I want you all to write something what you have learned from your vacation. For example, if you learned to be helpful to someone who is very needy and doing something you didn't do for the rest of your lives. Everything that you learned, just write it on a clean piece of short bond paper and I will ask you to read it in front of everyone. I will be back after fifteen minutes and you all should be done." the professor said and left the room.

Everyone whined and groaned as the professor left while Elandra opens up her bag and grabs her things from inside. She looks so calm and just relax while everyone are being so dumb what to write.

"This is the worst first day of class ever." she heard Ashley mumbled.

"Ashley, come on, just write it there that you finally learned to swim because I am such a great coach to teach you how to." Elandra chuckles making her to pouts then smiled a wide one.

"Oh my! you are right. Hmm, that is just so easy to do. I am going to write it now. Thank you for the idea!" Ashley chuckles and starts writing.

Elandra didn't mean to give her an idea but she still feels so proud of herself that she knows how to help. Now, it's her turn to write something. She stared at the empty clean bond paper and took a deep breath.

"Okay, here I go. I have many things to write as well." she mumbled.

"In my entire life, I have learned to adjust yourself to be alone and not depending to others. I learned that having holidays with the maids and sometimes being alone because they also need to be with their families for the holidays. I learned that it is so sad to feel alone like you are thinking some crazy things you wanted to do but you can't. I learned to be helpful to our maids and I also learned to cook all by myself when I really need to eat. Having no one by your side is really hard but I learned a lot from it. It gave me many challenges and I know God has some purpose to give me those challenges. Watching my family spending their holidays together without me make them so much happy while me, I don't know what to feel. I just locked myself in my room and studied hard. I think and learned that it is better to waste your time studying rather than going out to enjoy." she ended her speech with a sigh.

She stared at the class and every one can feel the pain inside her. They all know about her story but she doesn't care. She can see her professor is very proud of her and even Ashley. Brianna just rolls her eyes and naps her head around. She hates to see her rival in front. Everyone claps their hands at her speech and she just smiled.

"Thank you for that wonderful speech, miss Park, Next." the professor said.

She went back to her desk like nothing just happened. Ashley just pats her shoulder.

"I told you, I was inviting you over to our house but you do not want to." she said to her/

Yeah, she remembered that her best friend tried her best to make her come to have her holidays with them but she is so hard-headed to go there because she preferred to be alone.

After the class, they need to have a break. Elandra and Ashley are walking down the hallway when Brianna with her flings blocked their way out.

"Brianna, what is your problem?" Ashley was the one who asked her.

Brianna rolls her eyes and scoffed. They are wearing their cheerleader uniforms right now.

"Nothing, I just want to congratulate Elandra for her unbelievable speech a while back. Wow, you are so good in fooling people's mind." she said.

Brianna thinks that Elandra lied and it's her way to get the sympathy from the others.

"What? she's not lying and she was telling the truth." Ashley said.

Brianna just scoffed.

"Oh come on, is that so? it is merely impossible for her to be alone in their wide big mansion. She is just lying and we know that." Brianna said.

Elandra is so tired of her right now.

"Brianna, let me ask you one thing." Elandra spoke up.

Brianna raises her right eyebrow at her like she is not even scared that she might lose her scholarship and her position as the captain of the cheerleading team.

"What is it?" she asks her.

"Do you love what you are wearing?" she asks her.

Brianna stared at her outfits and smirks.

"Of course, I do. I am the captain of the cheerleading team and I have let your school's name into top one when it comes to cheerleading." she scoffed.

"I know. I know. But aren't you afraid that you might lose them in just one snap of my finger? I bet you know me and what can I do, Brianna. I can find someone better than you in that position. That doesn't mean that you are the captain and you made many championship, that doesn't mean I can't do what I want to you," she is warning her.

Brianna felt a little threatened there and her two friends even whimpered with what she just said.

"Come on, I have a contract signed in this school. It is not easy for you to terminate me." Brianna said.

"Well, I can." Elandra said.
