Shasa Can Help You

Lydia stumbled into her house, exhausted and covered in dirt and sweat from spending the whole day with Shasa. She had tried to make Shasa feel better and had treated her injuries. But the situation between Shasa and her son Ezra was still unresolved, and Lydia knew she had to do something about it.

She dropped her bag on the floor and collapsed onto the couch, taking a deep breath. After a moment of rest, she picked up her phone and dialled her son's number. When Ezra answered, Lydia wasted no time.

"Ezra, you need to come to my place immediately. It's urgent," Lydia said in a stern tone.

Ezra hesitated for a moment, knowing that his mother only called him because of his fight with Shasa. "What's going on, Mom?"

"Get your foolish self, here and quit asking me questions," Lydia yelled, her voice growing louder.

"Mom, I know you are calling because of my fight, with Shasa. But I don't want to talk about it. I have serious issues bothering me," Ezra said, his voice shaking slightly.

Lydia's voice grew even more forceful. "Ezra, you need to come here now. You can't run away from this. You need to face the situation head-on and fix things with Shasa. She's hurting, and you're the only one who can make it right."

Ezra knew his mother was right. And maybe he could get Shasa to help him with his company. He took a deep breath and nodded. "Okay, Mom. I'll be there in a few minutes." Lydia hung up the phone and waited for her son to arrive.

A few minutes later, Ezra knocked on the door and waited for his mother to open the door. When she finally opened the door, her face was angry as she folded her arms and invited him inside.

"Sit down, Ezra," Lydia said, pointing to the couch.

Ezra felt uncomfortable as his mother stood in front of him, looking down at him with an intense gaze.

"What's going on, Mom?" Ezra asked, feeling a sense of dread creeping over him.

"I talked to Shasa earlier today," Lydia said, her voice firm. "She told me everything that happened between you two."

Ezra sat nervously on the couch, staring at his mother as she sat across from him. He knew that he had to tell her the truth, but he didn't know how she would react.

"Mom, there's something I need to tell you," he said, his voice shaking slightly. "I'm not in love with Shasa anymore."

Lydia's expression turned from concern to anger in an instant. "What do you mean you're not in love with her anymore? You two have been together for years. She even helped you acquire all of Hailey's inheritance !"

Ezra took a deep breath before continuing. "I just don't feel the same way about her anymore. I've met someone else."

Lydia's eyebrows shot up in surprise. "Who? Who is this other person?"

Ezra looked down at his hands, feeling guilty for what he was about to say. "Sophia," he whispered.

Lydia's face contorted with anger. "Sophia? Your secretary? How could you do this, Ezra? Shasa has been nothing but good to you, and you throw it all away for some woman you work with?"

Ezra held up his hands defensively. "It's not like that, Mom. I can't help how I feel. And it's not just about Sophia. It's also about what Shasa did."

Lydia's eyes narrowed. "What did she do?"

Ezra took a deep breath before speaking. "She betrayed her best friend, Hailey, just for a guy. I can't marry someone who would do something like that. If she could betray her best friend of 20 years. Then she would do worst to me if given the chance.

Lydia's face turned red with anger as Ezra finished explaining his reasons for ending things with Shasa. "What are you talking about, Ezra?" she exclaimed. "Shasa betrayed Hailey just because she wanted to make you happy. You were the one who came up with the plan and forced her to do it."

Lydia shook her head, her voice full of disappointment. "You were blinded by your greed for Hailey's inheritance, and you didn't care who got hurt in the process. You manipulated Shasa, and now you're trying to blame her for something that was your idea in the first place."

Ezra opened his mouth to speak, but Lydia held up a hand to silence him. "No, Ezra. I don't want to hear any more excuses. You need to take responsibility for your actions and make things right with Shasa. And you need to do it now."

Ezra nodded, feeling chastised. "You're right, Mom. I'll talk to Shasa and apologize for what I did. But Mom, I have a more pressing issue. And I don't know how to deal with it," Ezra said. "And what could that be?" Lydia asked. "I am on the verge of losing my company," Ezra lamented.

Lydia's face contorted into a look of surprise mixed with worry. "Oh, my goodness! Ezra, how did this happen? I thought your business was doing well," she said, her voice full of concern.

"I thought so too, Mom," Ezra replied, his voice laced with disappointment. "I invested everything from the properties I sold, but now things are going south, and I don't know what to do. All my investors and clients are pulling out their deals, and I'm on the brink of losing everything I've built over the years. According to the information I gathered. It is said that I offended a business, Mogul"

Lydia took a deep breath, trying to think of a way to help her son. "Have you tried talking to the mogul to see what the issue is and how to fix it?"

"I've tried, Mom, but no one is willing to tell me who the person is. But I think he's holding a grudge against me, but I don't know why," Ezra said, his voice full of frustration.

Lydia put a hand on her son's shoulder, trying to offer some comfort. "Don't worry, Ezra, we'll find a way to fix this. You can't give up now."

"I know, Mom, but what do I do? I don't want to lose everything I've built, and I don't know how to get out of this mess."

Lydia stood up, looking her son straight in the eyes. "You need to start by taking responsibility for your actions. Ezra, you need to reconcile with Shasa. I think she can help you out of this situation. She knows a few people that would help you," Lydia advised.

Ezra's expression turned to one of shame as he realized his mother was right. "I know, Mom. You're right. I'll apologize to Shasa and make things right.
