Her mercy to His penitence

"Don’t do it love! Please. Am sorry I hurt you. How can I live without you? Forgive me. " The girl stood at the cross road. Tears streamed down her pale cheek as she debated between listening to his pleas or to her heart. She was tired and could no longer take any of it. He took everything from her yet she stayed until she felt that her soul was no longer alive. Each pain he caused chipped a little at her soul until there was nothing left to give. Max

Two weeks went by in a flash. Jasmine and Beau looked better than when they first arrived at the hospital. The broken bones were healed. Except for the soreness of the body here and there, they were practically as good as new.

Even so, the doctors advised them to stay in the hospital for one more week. Neither opposed it for they wanted to be there with Max. Speaking of whom, he was transferred from the Intensive care unit into their ward.

Though he has yet to regain consciousness, he looked peaceful in his sleep. Beau spoke to him every day. He made sure that the first voice Max heard in the morning was his and the last voice he would hear was still his.

Today was no different from the previous two weeks. Beau woke up very early in the morning. After conducting his morning routine, he walked towards Max's bed and sat in the chair by the bedside.
