His Truth

Travis woke up with a throbbing pain in his head. He groaned as he gently rubbed at his temple. His eyes were still closed but even without opening them, he could feel it.

The body that lay cuddled in his arms. His body felt warm and comfortable despite the headache. He froze in his actions as though he just recalled something.

Shortly after, images of the things that happened the previous night filled his mind. His heart accelerated as his entire body flushed red. He was momentarily afraid to open his eyes.

What was he going to tell the innocent girl in his arms? He had clearly stated before that he wasnt ready for a relationship. Why then did he kiss her as though his life depended on it?

He couldn't help but admit that he liked it. He more than liked the kisses he shared with her. It felt different and so right. There was no way he would deny that if it comes up.
