  "You would not believe what I just went through right now." Erin says as he bursts through the hospital room day.

My heart is still thrashing violently, my face must be very red from the human's earlier statement. I clear my throat to bring back my mind from replaying the image of him pulling off his shirt and the words he spoke barely five seconds after pulling off his shirt. Maybe I imagined it. There was no reason for him to say he was interested in me. Yup, figment of my imagination. I just need some fresh air and few minutes away from this room, lest I keep imagining weird things and craving his warmth against me.

  Some gripped my shoulders really hard and shook me, as if trying to bring me from where my mind decided to take me.

  "M, are you even listening to me?" I faintly hear Erin's voice ask.

I blink once, then some more. Finally clearing the image of a shirtless mate, with a grin that already caused my heart to go crazy.
