As soon as the door closed, Skai glared at Damien, who ignored her as he walked to his desk taking her with him.
He sat down and pulled her to sit on his lap.
"You're so mean. She's going to have a lot to say."
Damien shrugged and wrapped his arm around her waist. "Let her. Who cares. Besides, didn't you tell me you weren't bothered?"
Skai couldn't argue with his reasoning. She said that only a few minutes ago.
"I did but.." he placed his index finger across her lips to silence her.
"Shhh... You're with me. That's what matters."
"But I should be at work."
"You are in work. You are reporting to your second office... mine. Or did you forget your second job?"
Skai pressed her lips together. Also, that was the reason why she didn't want to work directly in his office.
He wouldn't let her rest and would have her all the time.
