Shawn's eyes snapped open. The feel of soft skin pressed against his could not have prepared him for any of this, even though he figured that might happen the way she stole glances from him from time to time.
His brain buzzed. His thoughts ran a mile in seconds while he tried to figure out what to do.
Kiss back?
Wouldn't that make it seem weird?
Better yet… What if she went back on her actions and claimed she only did it to test him?
No. She wouldn't.
She was drunk; Shawn tried to believe.
