CHAPTER 171
Storm pushed open the door to Silver's room. His smile greeted her tired eyes. "Hey, I brought you something to brighten up your day." His gaze dropped to the steaming cup of hot chocolate.
Silver looked up from her phone. "Thanks, Storm."
Storm sighed. It's been days since the incident, still, her mood did not lighten up.
"Here." He handed her the cup, his fingers brushing against hers as she took it from him. There was no reaction from her.
'You look dead inside, Sil.'
"Umm, have…" Silver clamped her lips shut. "Never mind."
"No." Storm took a seat beside her on the bed. "You can continue. What is it that you wish to ask?"
"It's nothing." Storm felt frustrated. Their conversations have been getting shorter in the past few days. He couldn't send word to her father either nor did he allow their father to figure out what was going on with her.
"Has Shane visited you since?"
