A Secret To Hide

"Why did you bring me here?" Cristy folded her arms and questioned. As a frog hopped past her, she squealed. They were tucked away in the woods. William had done nothing except lead her on adventures and explores Dim's Forest neighboring forests for the previous two days.

"I assumed you'd want to leave the city. The profession of working in a diner isn't the most exciting," William added. Cristy observed him dipping his fingers into the river they had discovered. She took the time to survey the area while standing on the rocks. Her surroundings were a lush, verdant forest. When their discussion grew halting, the sound of the rushing water filled the void.

"Feeding the pack is a pleasure, but it's still a job. You guys are very skilled eaters."

William moved in her direction. He had grown very attentive to her ever since the night his tongue had made her climax. Although, she didn't mind his attention, Cristy began to suspect there was another reason for his newfound interest of William. Everyone in the pack was on guard. When she passed the other women, she had also seen Lara's smug expression.

"What was going on for the entire pack to be in this condition?" Cristy asked herself.

William encircled her waist and said, "My wife, my mate."

"What's happening?" Cristy enquired, attempting to catch his gaze. She was terrified by the pitch-blackness. She averted her gaze. He then let out a sigh. They had been acting in this way for the last few days.

"You already know that I'll soon have your eyes on mine," he said. He pointed at her temple, "I'm not battling you because I know it has something to do up here. Cristy, you're mine. I'm not going to let you go."

"I know," Cristy said but couldn't figure out why she couldn't look at him. She was troubled by the fact that she was unable to stare at him for very long.

Cristy explore his body already and share his bed, but she wouldn't look him in the eye. What sort of partner was she?

It was out of the question to speak with Lily, and she would never ask her parents such a private subject.

At night they slept in the same bed. Cristy was unable to return to her house because of William. The pack moved her belongings to his house gradually. As they brought something to her, they each gave her an odd look. She was unable to comprehend what was taking place.

What did that imply? Was she good enough to have at his side but not for the pack? She was unable to comprehend what was happening.

Cristy sighed as she cast a glance at her watch. "I have to leave for work."

"All okay, go back on. You'll be in the diner in no time, I promise."

William approached her up close and grabs her chin. She caught his eyes and said, "Look at me," before turning away. "I'm protecting you. You're aware of that, right? "

Cristy bowed. "I get that. I get that, but not this mating crap."

They started out trekking through the woodland after William helped her get upon his back. She was slower on her feet than William. Without tumbling over, he made it through the dense woodland.

Cristy laid her head on his back while clinging to his body. She was growing fond of him. The link between them grew stronger with each moment they spent together. Even now, she can sense his presence. She had tingling along her arms as she was working at the diner. She would turn around and see William go inside the restaurant.

Even as their bond deepened, she still found it difficult to speak with him. It didn't help that she couldn't look him in the eye. She avoided his sight more often than not.

William set her down as they reached the forest's edge. Her uniform dress was pushed down to her thighs.

Crsity was led by him to the main door.

"Tonight, I'll pick you up. I have some plans."

After William kiss her, Cristy grinned and watched as he approached Lara. The woman was waiting for him.
