This time, Gu Nianzhi waited only about five minutes before Special Assistant Yang came bustling out from the main entrance of the towering Senate building.

The suit on him was unkempt, and the greenish-black stubble growing out of his mandible was apparent. He really did look like he'd stayed up working all night.

Gu Nianzhi chuckled. "Looks like you guys are swamped, Special Assistant Yang."

"Very busy indeed. It really couldn't be a better time for you to be here to help." Special Assistant Yang smiled as he walked her inside. "We have another intern with us today, she is also a student at B University. She's a fourth-year student named Rong Mingxing. She's not here yet, but you're early."

Gu Nianzhi nodded. "Oh, I see. Since you're all so busy, I guess it's a good thing that you've taken on a few interns."
