A world, which in front of everyone seems normal, a world made up of murder, framing, all sorts of inhumane actions, all for the thirst for a higher power. Well known for this, one can actually call such world a parade of such entertainment to the higher beings, who to them find it as an eternal pleasure that they can’t ever get rid of and to the powerless, it is just hell, thus, the name; “Hell’s Parade”. This story dives deep into the life of a young warrior, Liam, whose whole life is all about protection, survival and sustenance with his loved ones but what fate has for him is way far from his view. Revenge, bloodlust, power thirsty and so on, a life his fate, which was decided by the higher beings, forced him into. Does he join the parade and entertain the higher beings with his hell or does he turn the blade’s tip against fate itself?

A Spark Within A Forest.

The lonely night view, at first appeared blurry, then clear but it still glitches. This went on for seconds before the viewer's eyes stayed awake.

The night view had nothing, not even the moon itself. It was really lonely that one can easily question where the moonlight came from.

Liam slowly sat up from the pool of blood he was lying on while being surrounded by dead corpse of the beasts he one-sidedly slaughtered.

Still stark naked with the little saving grace, although temporary, of being covered up in blood.

At the moment, his breathing became difficult as well as developing a severe stomach ache. The days of starvation has finally catch up to him.

Looking at the dead bodies lying around, he felt disgusted at first but he really has no option and went on with summoning one of his chained sickles.

He lights up the chain attached to the weapon's blade in flames and have it wrap around one of the beasts' corpse to roast it up.

It was actually quite successful except for the fact that he had no seasoning and spices available.

With a prayer said on the roasted meat, Liam dived into his meal without trying to savour its taste as it obviously would be horrible to have as a manageable meal.

Minutes passed and Liam is finally done with his nightmare of a meat but of course, his digestive system has the final say over the consumed meat and unfortunately for Liam, it was rejected.

He crawls to the side, knelt on his knees as he faces down. Then and right there, he pours out every single atom that has been swallowed up and right beside his puke, his body clocked due to lack of sleep.

Hours later, opening his eyes after so many blinks, before his sight was someone's pair of shoes right in front of him.

Not trying to jump-scare the stranger, he first had a peek to see the strangers intension and behold, he possesses an axe and was about to let it drop on his neck.

As swift as he can be, with his feet, he kicks up the dust to obstruct the stranger's view and gets up all in a second.

He distances himself from the stranger while simultaneously summoning his blades and as for the stranger, he gets restless as he lets go of the axe while fighting for a chance to see clearly again.

While slowly regaining his sight, the stranger felt a cold blade up his neck which caused him to freeze his movements instinctively while shaking nervously.

"Drop your pants." Liam ordered.

With a quick turn, not minding the blade, the stranger pushes Liam away and looks at him in disgust and replied.

"What?"

"Sire, about the paraders, it seems like one is already on the move to reduce his rivals. He has embarked with what seem like a first move for him, which is sending off underlings, against their will or with materialistic exchange against the other paraders.

Not just that but he instructs them all to give out false information on who sent them, trying to make the trio to point their blades at each other."

Alyssa, standing right in front of the board table addresses to the board head whose chair is facing the room's window, same as him staring off into the unknown through same window.

"Let them be. I too am curious to know the standings and principles of these paraders. Seems like one is already off to a bad start, how do the other three react to this.

We can see that two are some kind of psychopaths, of which one is obsessed with killing and the other is obsessed with having the most fun out of anything.

The third is quite the most disciplined but it is quite obvious that he is really holding back… a lot. It looks more like he is just a normal participant compared to being a parader.

As for the last, seems like he too has a goal we all still need to investigate into.

All are in the chief rank except for one, who is still in the pawn rank but still shows exceptional potential to grow more.

My only instruction is to not let the death of the underlings that are captured and instructed against their will take place.

As for the underlings that follow his instructions, pay no mind to their death. They, of course, have to deal with the consequences offered up to them by the paraders."

Said the board head as he spins his chair slowly to be able to face Alyssa.

"Your orders are absolutely." Alyssa replied with a bow and was about to take her leave.

"Anyways, Alyssa, you did find out that the angel of death, the ego, Azrael, has risen and this time around, from the lineage of the falls?" the board head asked out of curiosity.

"Correct sir." Alyssa replied with a bow once again.

"Hmm…" the board head contemplated for a moment before responding,

"Seems like my bones won't get rusty after all. Praise the light for giving me a bed to die on."

"Come out, I can sense your presence and perceive your murderous aura, it stinks."

Brianna calls out as she was busy dealing with her lunch which turns out to be the last batch of the wyvern meat that she obtained.

"Quite sharp senses, I dare say, lay Brianna Longford, daughter of Maximus Longford, head of the magic defence force of the Hartz Empire."

The uninvited guest taunts as he creeps out from his hiding spot.

"Should I give you a reward for doing your research right? What a cliché, which parader sent you?"

Brianna responded as she sighs out of being annoyed.

"Well, there is no need to keep it a secret. The parader of the spear knight class, Collins Henz." The guest quickly responded while giggling with pride.

"Well done, you've won yourself a few minutes of me hearing you out." Said Brianna as she drops whatever she had, stood up and turns to the guest.

"There's nothing much to say, other than wanting to know your last words as I go back to report to my employer after killing you off."

"By the way, who sent you?" Brianna asked.

"Come on, despite his disciplined look on his face, the youngest son of the current Emperor's shield, the barrier mage, Lucas Armstrong." The guest shrugged out of pride as he answered.

At the mention of the perpetrator's name, Brianna quickly stood from her position, summoned her warhammer and suddenly disappeared out of sight.

Next thing the guest sees was her face few inches away from his and it was terrific to look at as her stern expression sent chills down his spine.

"I hope you didn't just stutter?" Brianna asked in order to make sure.

"U-uhm, y-yes." The guest answered nervously.

"Hmm, is this some political move?" Brianna contemplated as she turns back with her warhammer on her right shoulder.

The guest realising the mistake he made made an attempt to walk away from the scene, as soon as he turned back to make for the run, with a swift movement, Brianna swung her warhammer at the guest's head.

The next second, the guest's head got stuck on Brianna's hammer literally separated from his body.

His body stood as lifeless as one can imagine. With a smile on her face, Brianna turned to admire what she had done.

There and then, she just beheaded a human with his head stuck on the hammer.

She stretched out her hammer to observe it and actually have a view at the victim's head..

Sticking the handle into the ground, she took a stance and pretended that the victim is still alive.

"First of all, you must be bad with your lies. Collins is so well disciplined he won't involve himself in the struggle of powers.

Secondly, I see no reason for my life to be sought after when it is still not confirmed whether I am to inherit my father's position.

Then again, if he wouldn't send you, Liam knows no one apart from I and my family so therefore, he is out of the list.

Then, if he's out, that leaves just one person, the one who possess the ego of the spear?

If this was his idea all along, then, it is sure to say that Collins might be misinformed.

If that is so… oh damn, I need to save Liam!!"

.....................…

"So, what were you saying?"

Said by a tall male cladded in a white hooded robe.

His facial feature isn't shown, not just because of the hood but mainly because of the magic it comes with.

Strange enough, even through a peek, one can only see a black shadowed face and no facial feature.

"I swear, the parader from the reaper class sent me. He threatened my own life and I have no option.

Please, just spare my life and I will swear with my life on the line to never cross paths with you again."

Said another male, who is already beaten in pulp and is currently kneeling as he begs for mercy.

"Hmm, the reaper amongst us four? That's odd and the only thing I can say about it is just that his ego might be taking over him.

Well, I don't care but if he sent you, that means he must really want to meet me." Collins contemplated before turning back to the other male.

"Well, it seems like I will have to send my regards to the one who sent you."

"P-please, just spare me." The other male persisted in his beg for mercy.

"Nuh uh!!" with a flick of his right index and thumb fingers, the other male's head rolled off to the ground while he takes his leave, leaving the headless body to rot away.
