"So you're saying that this... Rectangular thing can flash pictures and videos on its screen" I asked her while staring at the so-called smart TV on her room

"Uhh.. Yes, don't you have TV in your house or something?" she also asked me

"No, I don't even know that this exist.. Well, I'm from the past after all" I answered her

She sighed before opening the TV and the people on it started talking about random things.

"Are you really from the past? Maybe, you're just pranking me.." she said

"Uhhh... What's a prank?" I asked her and her jaw dropped

"Ok.. I won't ask that again. I'm pretty sure you're from the past and you're probably not from here" she said while nodding

"Ok.." i whispered

"So... Taga saan ka ba?"

"Uhhh.. What?"

"I mean, where are you from?" she asked

"Somewhere" i answered

"Do you know how you got here?" she questioned me again

"No. Last thing I remembered was I passed out in my room and when I woke up.. I'm already here.." i answered again

"How can you go back?" she questioned me again

"I don't know.. Please stop asking. Just tell me what I need to know in this world so I could live" I grunted and pulled my silver hair

"Haaaa.... Go take a bath and change your freaking clothes, it's distracting" she said and pointed the door to another room

"I don't have other clothes aside from this" i said

"I'll buy you one... Wait here" she said and went out

I walked to the room she pointed and tried to open the door but.. Unfortunately, i don't know how it works. I pulled the knob but it didn't open so in the end I just sat on the comfy bed and wait for that lady.

"Here's your clothes and.. ehmmm.. Underwear" she said and gave me the clothes she bought

"Thank you lady" I said

This is actually the first time i said thank you to someone but I think she deserved it.

"Just call me Cy.. Short for Chyrille" she said and smiled a little

"I'm Helion MacKenzie..." i said and she nodded

"Did you take a bath already?" she asked me

"No... I can't open the door" i said and stood up

She opened the door for me and gave me a bath robe. She also opened that thing she called shower and pointed the 'body soap' she's using.

I'll think about how to go back if I learned all the things about this era. She told me that there is still plenty of things I need to know and she'll teach me all of it. I'm so grateful that I met her.

After I took a shower I dried myself using a 'towel' and wore the bathrobe she told me to use and went out.

"Go and change we're going out" she said

"Where are we going?" i asked her while wearing those strange clothes she bought earlier

"Mall. Shopping." she answered

"What's a shopping? And what's a mall?" i asked her again

"Shopping is buying things and etc. A mall is where you buy clothes and whatevers" she said and shrugged

"Ok..." I silently said

"Hurry up, I'll wait for you downstairs" she said and went out

I hurriedly wore the clothes and followed her. I almost tripped because I was in a hurry, scared that she'll leave me.

I saw her standing on the front door with her arms crossed.

"Wear this slippers. I bought it earlier with your clothes" she said and pointed at it

It's comfy and exactly at my size. I grinned and thanked her. She just nodded and turned around.

"Are we going to walk?" i asked her

"No. I don't like walking... We'll use my car" she said and i nodded even if I don't know what a car is.

She opened the door for me and waited until I was seated. She also fastened the thing which she called a seat belt and said that it's for my safety.

She taught me that this seat is called a 'passenger seat' and the one she's sitting on is called the 'driver's seat'.

Living here is literally the best.
