a house is not a home

After dinner the Tanaka household looks like a buzzy beehive. Everybody is buzzy with one thing or another. Harumi helps her mom with washing the two youngest while her dad and oldest brother do the dishes. In a large household there is a lot to do and the tasks are on a rotating schedule. When Harumi finally gets in the bath she has the feeling this is the first time today she has a moment for herself. Although she wouldn't mind some peace and quiet now and again, she wouldn't wanna trait her family for the world. They drive her crazy most of the time but the loves them none the less. When she thought about all her homework she still had to do she felt a headache coming up. She sighted and decided to cut her bath time short.

Since her oldest sister moved out, she got her own room. That made studying a lot easier. Even if it Saturday tomorrow she still have to go to school. Luckily only for half a day, but after that she has a athletics tournament so her Saturday is completely packed. She brushed over her history and geography homework since she couldn't care less and her math and economics homework was easy peasy. Harumi packed her bag for the sports event tomorrow so she wouldn't forget. If her head wasn't attached to her body she would forget it.

Later than planned Harumi finally wend to bed. she talked with Rina and some other friends on Line for a while before she actually fel asleep.
