Fireproof

Raena stretched off after he finished speaking with them, and he looked at her before exhaling deeply, because she was the only student at the academy about whom they knew so little, and he wondered why, but decided to wait until she brought someone from her family to ask the necessary questions.

"All right, that's it for now, come and get your timetable, see which class you have next and go to it, I think your next class is based on your elements, check, don't waste any time, I will straighten everyone out before the end of the term, have a good day," He said then left, and they exhaled deeply.

"I am glad he left, that guy is too scary, are you afraid of him, Raena?" Kyla asked and Raena glanced at her then smiled.

"I don't think so, maybe a little, he is quite scary," She responded and Kyla chuckled.

"Unsure of what or who you are afraid of, wow, you are amazing, will any of your family member be able to come to meet him?" Kyla asked as Raena checked her timetable then looked at the girl.

"I thinks so, I will check when I get home to be certain, they are quite busy," She responded.

"I understand, which class do you have first?" Kyla asked.

"A class with Sir Ivankof," She responded.

"Same class with me because your element is fire, he teaches us how to master our abilities and he can be pretty harsh at times, be careful also all of our other classes, not just you and me, everyone present here will be having the same classes other than the elemental ones and if you choose to do other classes as well," Astrun said as he stood up and walked away, and Raena smiled before standing up.

"I have a different class for this one, I will see you later," Kyla said as she waved bye to Raena, then Raena sighed and followed Astrun since she still didn't know her way around the academy as yet.

While walking behind him, he sighed then came to a halt and looked at her.

"If you're going to come with me, walk beside me, you walking behind me like that is a bit weird, come on," He said.

"You are pretty blunt, aren't you?" She asked and he shrugged then continued walking and she sighed before walking beside him.

After a while of walking, they arrived at a classroom and entered to find it was a large hall that had been made fireproof, with tables and chairs in one corner and a blackboard in front of which a man was reading a book.

"Good morning, sir," Astrun said.

"Good morning, sir," Raena said and he glanced at them as other students entered and he sighed before placing the book down and approaching them.

"Good morning, I will be testing the extent of your ability today, you can take your notes later on, I suggest you focus if you want to get better, I will be marking down your progress, I just wanted to let you know, please line up in an orderly fashion so we can get started," He said, and they did as told and lined up.

"Is he a demon? He doesn't look like one," Raena mumbled and Astrun looked back at her.

"No, he is not, he has celestial bloodline, but everything is mixed up within this academy so we can learn to live together without any problems, understand?" He asked.

"Yes, I do, thank you," She responded.

"You are welcome," He said as the teacher took a deep breath and a book appeared in his hand along with a pen and he looked at them.

"Since you are all connected to fire, I want you to come up here and try fire breath, even if you aren't good at it, that's okay, you are all here to learn, I know most of you are good because you have taken many classes before and you have been here longer, I also know a few of you here are new, that's why I am doing this," He said as the first student went up and as he blew fire the others smiled since he was very good and was already at the third rank within the academy.

Raena watched as the students took turns, some were powerful, some were not, and some were just starting out, and the teacher explained that it was because they were connected to fire but not as powerful as others, and the only way to improve was to keep practicing.

"Astrun, you are up next," He said, and Astrun stepped forward, clasping his index fingers before folding the others. He then took a deep breath as his eyes shone orange and blew a powerful burst of fire that reflected heat back at everyone, making the teacher and Raena both smile.

"Excellent work," The teacher said then Astrun thanked him before turning to face Raena.

"Go on, I'd like to see what else you're capable of," He said, and she sighed.

"Raena, I know you are new as well, relax and take your time, there is no need to rush," The teacher stated, and she smiled slightly before taking a step forward and closing her eyes.

[Take a deep breath and relax your body while mimicking Astrun's hand sign; your fire is stronger; believe in it and yourself, and you will come out on top in this class.]

"All right, here I go, let's see how much I can do despite being new to this," Raena said, mimicking Astrun's hand sign. She took a deep breath as her eyes glowed red and she felt her mouth getting warm inside, then blew with all her might.

Everyone gasped at how hot the fire she blew was and when it landed on the wall, despite the spell that was casted on it, it shattered due to which her fire cracked and burnt the wall and the teachers eyes widened as everyone stared at her then her eyes went back to normal and the fire disappeared then she turned around to look at them and saw them staring.
