When they finished eating dinner, Raena got up and stretched off and Akaz glanced at her.

"Are you going to bed now?" He asked and she smiled.

"Yeah, I am heading to bed now, I have classes in the morning," She responded.

"All right, then I will tell you this at once, there will be an event at another academy, you guys have to travel for at least a day, they will be announcing it tomorrow, I want you to take part in it," He said.

"Which one of the events?" Drakun asked and Akaz glanced at him.

"The one to get stronger, not the other, that will start but not yet," He responded and Raena looked at the two.

"All right, I don't really care about what kind of event it is as long as it helps me get stronger I will join," She said and Akaz smiled.

"Raena, how strong do you want to get?" Akaz asked and she glanced at him.

"Strong enough so no one can ever take advantage of me ever," She responded and he scoffed.

"All right, I understand, you can go to your room, good night," He said.

"Good night, guys," She replied with a smile then went to her room and she threw herself on the bed, thinking about ways to raise her rank and get stronger as well as ways to learn more about her new home.

After a while of thinking about a few things, Raena fell asleep and Akaz came to visit her and saw that she was sleeping then smiled before entering the room and covering her with the blanket before sitting beside her and sighing.

"Raena, there is so much that I wish to tell you, but I worry when you find out, you might break, that's one of the reasons I want you to get stronger, you always belonged here, now I only hope that you find which spot you fit in, I wish I can tell you more but the more I remember the harder it gets," He said and Drakun who was standing by the door, overheard him.

'What is he talking about? I know he said that Raena is special and I can see that, but what do you mean by all of this? It seems a lot more important than you are letting on, I want to find out, but I won't go behind your back, it sounds as though, whatever it is and however she is connected to you, is a painful way,' Darakun thought before going back to his room.

"I couldn't protect you or them back then, but this time, I won't make the same mistake, I will not let them take what's yours from you, you will have what belongs to you but first you need to get stronger and I will help you no matter what, I will try my best to protect you and that which you care about," He said as his eyes began glowing bright red along with the palm of his right hand and he pressed it against her chest.

Raena's body began to glow bright red, and Akaz smiled as a crest marking appeared on the side of her wrist, and he sighed in relief before returning to normal, and the crest disappeared from her hand, then he patted her on the head and left her room and fixed her blanket before returning to his room to call it a night.

Raena awoke the next morning with a tingling sensation in her body, then got out of bed and stretched before grabbing her clothes.

"Why am I feeling a bit different than usual? Am I still not used to being here?" Raena mumbled as someone knocked on her door and she saw it was Akaz.

"Good morning," He said.

"Good morning, am I late?" She asked as he checked the time, then smiled at her.

"No, you are not late, go do what you have to then come to join us for breakfast and since I have to drop by the academy, I will be going with you, if that's fine with you, of course," He responded and she smiled.

"That's more than fine with me, I will be happy to have you come along, I will join you guys for breakfast in a few, just let me do my morning routine," She said and he smiled.

"By all means, go ahead; there's no need to rush," He replied before leaving, and she exhaled deeply. She looked in the mirror and noticed her eyes were brighter than usual, but she ignored it and went about her normal morning routine.

When Nessa finished, she changed into her uniform, packed her bag, then left the room and went to the living room where she wished them a good morning then sat down and took her food.

"Enjoy your meal and one more thing, will you guys will be going together today, right?" Drakun asked.

"Yes, we will be going together today, why? Would you like to tag along as well, Drakun?" Akaz asked and Drakun scoffed.

"No, thanks, I want to come along, but I have other things to take care of as well and I cannot let that fall, I have responsibilities as well," He responded and Akaz smiled at him while they were eating.

"Yeah, I know you and you are doing a great job fulfilling your duties, Drakun," Akaz said and Raena nodded then Drakun smiled.

"Well, Raena I wish you a good day, be careful at that academy, got it?" He asked and she glanced at him and his eyes narrowed while looking at her and she smiled.

"Go it, don't worry so much, Drakun, I will be fine, I made a few friends as well, we are together almost all day long," She responded and he exhaled deeply.

"I am glad you are fitting in, at least in that way," He said as she finished eating her food, then she got up and sighed before then magic circle began forming under their feet.

"Both of you be careful and take care," Drakun said.

"You too, be careful, Drakun," She replied before waving at him, then they disappeared and Drakun lowered his head, noticing that the color of her eyes was deeper than before but didn't let it bother him and went about doing his normal routine.
