Heir of Heaven or heir of reality? separate stories?

After multiple omniversal eternitys the eternal ruler of creation has decided to step down and vanish from time to keep from loosing their sanity. Thus to prevent eternal instability in the worlds he has allways cared for, he creates a way for one to reach the high chair he sat upon in the highest divine plane. A artifact if you would call it such. A tool that autonomously searches for any souls and minds that harbor will to improve societies and civilizations as well as having creativity divine beings could praise. However this isnt something that makes one stronger but merely makes sure a proper candidate never truely perishes. Thus those whose souls are fused with the eternal light endure through eternity regardless of their desire. Or shall it be like ink heart/supreme magus mix and the world loves them so much it won't let their souls die no matter what?
