Feeling a pang of guilt, Joel managed to step forward. Without delay, Avery spoke up, "Mr. Morton, besides competence and professionalism, Belleza Company only sponsors companies that are well-represented, and unfortunately, you've already misrepresented your company."

Upon hearing this, Joel struggled to control his tears. He had put in so much hard work to ensure that his company secured funding. Apart from representing his company, he had been promised a 30% commission if they were granted sponsorship.

Just when he thought he was about to prove his company's worthiness for sponsorship, he found himself face-to-face with the same person he had humiliated just minutes ago!

"I'm sorry, Ms. I... I never knew you were a boss here... Please, forgive me," Joel stammered apologetically.

"Excuse me, I have other candidates to attend to," Avery said firmly, calling for one of the security guards to escort Joel out of her office.
