Hunting

He already spends several times inside the forest but this time he needs to hunt instead of just sleeping in the cave inside the forest. He finishes his training and begins preparing his necessities. He finished preparing all the necessities and he then use Spirit Possession on Aurora. He then begins flying to the Star Dou Forest.

He spends 5 hours flying from Spirit City to Suo Tuo City. After arriving at Suo Tuo city, he visits his parents and his twin siblings. After spending 3 hours with them, Nie Long begins flying to the Star Dou Forest.

He arrived and begins hunting for 50 Foxes that he needs to use Monster Merging.

Because of how big Star Dou Forest is, Nie Long spends 1 week hunting for 50 (10,000 years old) foxes. Nie Long then takes them all to his cave before merging them all. It starts with merging 10 foxes.

He then continues with all the foxes. Even though their age becomes older, their potential is still the same. They all just have Good potential. Nie Long doesn't care about overhunting Fox-type Spirit Beast since he will make a God-Rank Fox-type Spirit Beast soon.

After finishing merging all 50 foxes, Nie Long kill the last fox. He then uses monster merging. He merges Lucy with the now-dead fox. Nie Long knows that the merging will take a long time so he went out to hunt for Crow-type Spirit Beast and Tree-type Spirit Beast.

Luckily, because of large amounts of Tree and Crow-type Spirit Beasts, Nie Long only take 10 days to complete the capture of 50 Spirit Beasts of both types. Nie Long takes all the Spirit Beasts to his hideout before merging every single Spirit Beast against the other.

He then kills the last remaining Spirit Beast from Crow-type and Tree-type. He releases Aurora and Lily from his inner space before merging them with their own type. A light cocoon then begins surrounding both Aurora and Lily.

Nie Long looks at Lucy's light cocoon but it is still there. it is already 10 days and she still doesn't finish her upgrade yet. So Nie Long went out to hunt for his new Martial Spirit. This time he wants Spirit Beast that can produce illusions.

He walks around the Star Dou forest before finding a weird place. It is barren without a single Spirit Beast or tree. Nie Long walks into the place and he felt as if he entered an illusion.

Nie Long looks around before he saw large Red Ruby eyes looking at him. The said Red Ruby eyes begin looking for flaws in Nie Long's defence. After Nie Long deliberately makes a flaw, the Red Ruby eye being attacked Nie Long at a fast speed.

When the Red Ruby eyes attacked Nie Long, he saw the true identity of the said being. "Mirage Dragon huh? I thought there are no longer any Mirage Dragons in this world."

The Mirage Dragon continues attacking Nie Long, and Nie Long at the same time continues attacking the dragon. Even though he can only use 2 out of his 5 Martial Spirits, Nie Long is still better than the Mirage Dragon.

It is because of his massive Spirit Energy reserve, and because of how strong his body is. He equips Artoria and uses Martial True Body. He then continues fighting, cutting, stabbing and parrying all the dragon attacks.

After fighting for 5 minutes, the dragon surrendered and can't any longer continue fighting against him. Nie Long walks in front of the dragon and said "make a contract with me or die to my sword."

The dragon then submitted and make the contract with Nie Long. After making the contract with the Mirage Dragon, Nie Long takes it inside his inner space before walking back to his hideout.

After arriving at his hideout, Nie Long begins looking at his status.
