Heavenly Chromicle

Well short summary after we killed stryker, we passed the woods, Iris fell and sprained her ankle, we waited 30 minutes for it to heal. Leon tells us of a resort he owns and he was sure it was very close. Leon takes over the lead and yes we met demons at night, but they were low graded so we didn't have problem killing them. Eventually we gave up looking for the resort, Leon started up a fire for the night, Iris was mapping out the areas we passed just in case we needed them. I decided to walk around the area, i walked for a few minutes hoping to catch a glimpse of light but I didn't see anything, I was about leaving when I heard the bushes rattle. I immediately pulled my sword out, I edged closer and was about to cut the bush when someone touched my shoulder. I turned fast and swung my sword, the person yelped and fell on his butt.

"Ow what was that for?" I recognized the voice.

"Ryan..."

"What's up with you?" He asked before I assisted him to get up and he dusted himself.

"I meet you after a long while and you suddenly want to kill me, nice reunion, buddy"

I couldn't really see him clearly but I was happy he was around so I hugged him.

We talked and talked, catching up on old times, it was nice having him, I told him all about everything we had given through the past couple days, we only had two days left to get to Los Angelos and stop the Spartians.

"No worries, you'll be just fine" Ryan had said. He sounded so reassuring and the I remembered my friends. I told him to join us, Ryan said he had to go since he was there against the rules, I didn't really push him to much so we said goodbye and I left him.

I went back to Leon and Iris, I thought they will be sleeping but they seemed to be speaking with two men on uniform. I walked up to them and asked what had happened, it turned out that the two me were just exploring the woods when they saw our camp fire. They worked for a resort as security guards and it also turned out to be Leon's resort, that they had recognized their masters voice from afar, I looked at Leo for confirmation, at first Leon's face showed disbelief but he immediately relaxed, they offered to take care of us.

On normal circumstances, I would have rejected their offer but we could really take a nice bath and have some nice food after days of eating only ambrosia and holy water. We packed our little things and followed them to a large resort, it had a large pool and hot water bath, fancy cuisines that served any kind of food, a gift shop, hotels, I mean literally hotels of large sizes. It could host the whole of New York and still have enough to take care of the half population of Nigeria. Yes, I have heard of the country, a place of resources, blessed by God.

We decided to kick back and relax, Iris went to the hot springs, Leon and I decided to take a bath. While I was dressing up, I couldn't help wondering what had really happened back when we were with Stryker, I wasn't sure of how I killed him, what if I woke up to find my friends dead.

"Like I would bother on weaklings"

I turned around sharply but no one was there, where had the voice come from. I only hoped it wasn't what I thought it was.

I left my room and joined Iris and Leon in the Dining room, it was large room, plated with gold, that almost resembled Holy Gold, the waiters came in and served us a large buffet, series of foods from different cuisines, Ramen from Japan, Pizza in New York, Chicken Salad, even some African delicacies were there.

"Nah, there was no way this place would be connected to spiritual stuff" I thought.

"Umm Theo…" Iris called.

"Yeah?"

"Something seems off about this place"

Leon immediately started to shift uncomfortably.

"Leon…. this isn't your resort is it?" I asked immediately dropping my fork and knife.

He shook his head, Iris and I looked at him angrily.

Hey, we will shout me later, lets just focus on getting out of here, I mean we have eaten and bathed and had a change of clothes.

Leon was right, we did get what we want.

"Jeez, lets just get outta here" Iris took the first step and Leon followed, immediately the door locked, I was trapped inside, there was a shrill cackle behind me that gave me chills, I turned to see a guy heavily built wearing a golden armor.

"Going so soon hunter, I haven't even started the main course yet" his voice boomed in the room.

Iris Bahamunt

Leon and I had just left the dining room when we heard the door close behind us, we turned around and we didn't see Theo. We tried opening the door but it didn't even budge, I knew a way to open the door but if I did, Leon and Theo might not want to be close to me anymore.

Leon summoned his sac-bag and when I wanted to ask, I saw the security guards who had picked us from the woods, they were now demons with wings and fangs, they weren't the same as they picked us but for sure I knew it was them. I brought out my dagger and stood by Leons side.

"Iris Bahamunt, you dare raise a weapon against your own kind" The demons gave way and the owner of the voice, a woman stepped forward with a grin on her face, I almost fainted when I saw who she was, she was pale but beautiful with long black hair like me, Leon gasped, obviously he could see the resemblance. The only feature differentiating us was the fangs and she was pale like a vampire.

"Welcome to my Home, my dear niece Iris, a pleasure to have your acquaintance" She said with mockery.

Leon Angelo

I stared at the older Iris, so confused. Who was she? And why did she call Iris her Niece. The older Iris introduced herself as Lily Bahamunt, as in the strongest vampire race Bahamunt. I immediately panicked, I knew it was impossible to defeat Stryker and this woman, the dark energy pouring out from her was by far stronger than that of Stryker, it was obvious the woman was going to kill us.

"You there.." She pointed at me "My minions will play with you while I have a discussion with my niece here"

I looked at Iris, she looked like all the blood had been drained from her face. Before I could even reply, the two security guards lunged at me and I prepared myself for battle.

Theseus Blackheart

The guy was giving out an immense demonic aura, I knew immediately it was a vampire from the way he looked and spoke with a very ancient deep British accent fluently. I calmly pulled my katana out of my sheath, I had been practicing my skills at night whenever the others were asleep, I didn't want to be useless as I was with Stryker.

The guy lunged and struck me with his axe, I blocked it with my katana like the way Dexter had taught me, let your spiritual energy flow over the sword, it would be easier to block things with less strenght, I hadn't really understood that until one night I was able to do it, I parried his axe and sliced at his head.

The vampire smirked and sprang backward, "You seem like a formidable opponent and I can sense something even more powerful than me in you so I will tell you my name"

He dropped his axe on the floor and smirked again "I am Carl Bahamunt, Fifth strongest in the Bahamunt household, currently your colleagues are facing Lily Bahamunt, Sixth strongest"

I felt annoyed knowing I was stuck here and couldn't help them, I decided to defeat this monster and fast so I could save my friends.

"Till then just don't die, Iris and Leon" And with that in mind I charged at Carl.
