The Notes

Family 1

The tragedy had taken her away, far from them at a very young age. They wondered about her death and how she died but no one knew anything until they asked an agent to do a background check, which is only available if you have the note. The note that determines where your family member went and it implies their deeds. Who doesn't need proof of that? The family is grieving the recent death of their beloved daughter Cleopatra and how much they miss her emerald green eyes and black, tight curled hair bouncing around. Taking pride in her work and just being an all-out great kid that followed all their rules and who got everything, since they could afford it. Who was an amazing student A++ as they put it. The doorbell rang, the trill sound sending chills up their spines in anticipation of what the results are. They believe she deserves nothing less than heaven.

She would always help the poor and be a great kid in general. Always caring for her siblings and making sure they were happier than her. Mostly a selfless girl. They grabbed the letter left at the doorstep that had a all too clear stamp, stating it's for the deceased Cleopatra Evans. They were jittery as everyone always is. It's not surprising. They slowly opened it with all the family around, aunts and uncles, grandparents and cousins, only to get the shock of their lives. In big capital letters it stated,

"We are sorry to inform you that Cleopatra Evans has been taken to HELL"

They all gasped in horror at the note that the father had read and they burst into tears at the horrific trauma she must be going through, for doing absolutely nothing. So they called an agent to find out the truth and to see if there had been a mix up.

Family 2

The family stared into space awaiting the dreadful announcement of the letter that they didn't want to receive. The mother, her son died and she didn't want to see the words that she knew was to come. It stated that he was probably going to hell. He was always in trouble, constantly doing things to save only himself and not caring about the harm that he was causing for himself and his mom. The tragedy wasn't even clear, they didn't know why he died.

On the dot, the letter arrived following a family scurrying to the door to read what they already knew. When they opened the letter they were shocked but in tears. It stated,

"Congratulations Iris has been welcomed warmly into heaven into a high position."

They were all overwhelmed but couldn't figure out why he was in heaven because he was such a bad person, he didn't deserve to go to such a place. He was a known rapist to them and a gangster. Always abusing kids and seen hanging out with them. They always believed it to be because of bad motives and the unkindness of his heart. So they always left him to be a drug-addict. Let him smoke and hang out with bad people; let him continue being a jerk to everyone because they knew he was unwanted. Everyone knew he was unwanted, even he knew he was unwanted by them. He was a rapist's baby and that's why they always believed he was bound to be a bad and cruel person. Or was it really that because he knew he was unwanted that he wanted others to feel wanted?
