Devoured

Weng!

A burst of red light illuminated the room the moment the Devouring Sword made contact with the Formation. This little bit of light was not enough to blind Sheng Tian, and through his eyes, he witnessed a change in the Devouring Sword.

The Formation runes lit up red, and the metallic scent of blood filled the air to form blades pointed at Sheng Tian.

Before they could strike however, the dragon and phoenix patterns on the blade glowed a golden hue, before separating themselves from the blade. 

"Roar!"

The blade blade pulsated and cracked, with crimson light seeping out. In a flash, the blade transformed into the head of a ferocious beast and opened its black maw, filled with razor sharp black teeth.

Sheng Tian felt the air in the room shift in his direction as the beast head sucked the air in its direction, drawing in the blood blades slowly.
