Chapter 3

The car stopped in front of the gate because of the traffic but Yang Liwei didn't notice her and she couldn't roll the glass and scream his name. So she secretly took a 100 yen note from her mother's purse and wrote her phone number on it.

After a few seconds, he suddenly noticed her but the car already started, so Saki slightly rolled the window and threw that 100 yen out and indicated him to pick it up from the back glass.

Yang Liwei ran in between cars and picked up the note and saw the number on it. But suddenly the note got snatched by a thief from his hands.

He chased after the thief who was also a child but while chasing suddenly he was hit by a car and he fell down with blood flowing from his head.

A beautiful lady got out of the car while wearing shades and a mask to cover her face. She was terrified and shaking. After realizing the situation, she picked up the boy and took him to the hospital while calling and informing his husband about the accident.

"I don't know how that…that happened.. trust me, honey…. I...I...really was.. paying attention to the road…. But he suddenly came…. in front…of my car…..and I don't know what to do….please save him.. please do something.. honey." Qin Yiran pleaded with her husband to save the boy as soon as she saw him coming towards her in the hospital lobby.

"What exactly happened? Is he severely injured?" Liu Huian inquired reaching his wife. He continued, "You should have been more careful. How could you make such a big mistake at such a crucial period in your life? Not only would a boy lose his life, but both of our careers would also go down."

Gradually he calmed down after looking at his wife's terrible state. "Alright, now calm down. Let me see the boy, then we'll decide what to do.

He was just going to enter the room when he heard the little boy talking to the doctor, " I am a fine doctor. It's just a little pain. But is the lady driving the car okay? Is she injured anywhere? She might be scared right now."

"It's not her fault. It was my fault. I ran into her car. So, no need to blame the lady, officer." He said to the police officer standing next to the doctor who had arrived to get his statement.

Hearing the boy worried about his wife instead of blaming her, Liu Huian felt happy and concluded that he was a kind boy who instead of asking for a sum of money or punishing them had to choose not to. More than half of his worries instantly vanished.

"The lady is perfectly fine. Don't worry. Are you okay? Is it hurting a lot?" Liu Huian asked Yang Liwei as he entered the room.

After conversing with him Liu Huian had a pretty good impression of the boy, even though the little one can't be described as a warm child, he was kind and mature.

Later, Qin Yiran meets with the boy and felt better after knowing that he was alright and not blaming her.

Both the adults were worried that this single incident could ruin their careers, as one was an assemblyman campaigning for his re-election and one was a popular actress. They couldn't afford any black patches to appear on their images.
