33. JEALOUS RAYMOND (BLOODY DATE 1)

Yvonne looked around the place then back to Justin, giving him her attention as he talked, "This place is..." Her gaze went past his shoulder, to the entrance of the restaurant.

"What are they doing here?" She gasped on a couple or what should she call them entered. They came in hand to hand, smiling at each other.

"Who?" Justin asked, looking behind him. "Isn't that Raymond's sister?"

"Yes, with my best friend, Samuel." Mercy looked around the place, Yvonne knew she was looking for someone, and the person is her.

Immediately, Mercy locked eyes with her, she gave a knowing look, Mercy smiled innocently and tapped Samz, pointing in their direction.

"They are coming here," Justin murmured loudly, to Yvonne. "We are on a couple's date, there should be no disturbance or distraction."

"We can't send them away. Mo... I mean Mr. Raymond might get angry at me." Yvonne shrugged.

He groans, "God..."

Yvonne smiled at him, "Smile at them, don't scare them away."

"Hey guys, Yvonne... Justin." Mercy greeted.

"Mercy." Yvonne stood from her seat to hug her and playfully glared at Samuel, giving him a questioning look.

"Samuel, the girl I told you about." Mercy gestured in Yvonne's direction, introducing her to Samz.

"Hey, Yvonne." Samuel forced a smile at her.

"Hey yourself, boyfriend." She hugged Samuel. "We know each other. He's my best friend's twin."

"Thank God. My brother's g... Hmm, my brother's assistant knows my boyfriend." Mercy squealed, making everyone laugh.

Mercy also introduced Justin to Samuel and likewise, they did their guys' handshake. Samuel adjusted a chair for Mercy to seat before sitting. After settling down, they ordered dinner.

After eating, They called a waiter to clear their plates and ordered dessert to keep themselves busy while they gist and chat.

"Samuel, why didn't you tell me about Mercy?" She playfully glared at him.

"It never came up." He replied, without looking at her but at Justin's hand that was resting atop Yvonne's. He gripped the chair he was sitting on, tightly in his fist to control his anger.

Suddenly, he felt a hand squeeze his, releasing the chair from his grip, he looked at the hand in gratitude and then in shock, not expecting the hand to be Mercy's.

Mercy noticed Samuel's eyes has been on Yvonne throughout while they were eating, now his eyes were on Justin's hand that was on Yvonne's. She watched him grip his chair in anger and held his hand to steady him as he began to shake.

He looked shocked, seeing her hand on his, "I'm sorry." He whispered.

"I understand. She's the one you told me about, right?" She looked jealous.

"Yes. I'm sorry, Mercy." He apologized.

She patted his hand, understandingly, "I knew what I was getting into when I accepted to do this. You should tell her." He nodded.

Mercy had told him, she was okay but she wasn't. She wished it was her that he was madly in love with, that he was looking at lovingly, he would be angry at another guy holding her hands and wanted her for himself, and not Yvonne.

She knew Yvonne was in love with her brother and not him, it gave her a kind of satisfaction but not all that satisfying. Samuel will be broken by that fact but she doesn't want to see him like that.

Yvonne stood up, "Mercy, I want to have a word with you." She went straight to the restroom without waiting for Mercy's response. Mercy rushed after her.

Yvonne entered the restroom compartment with Mercy behind her, she turned to her as she closed the door, "The same place..." A lady came out of the restroom close to them, washed her hands, and left.

"It's a coincidence, Yvonne." She said before Yvonne could say anything.

"It's not a coincidence. The same day and time with mine and Justin, huh?"

"He had asked me on a date and told me to pick a location for it." She shrugged.

"Why did you choose this place?"

Mercy raised her hands in a surrendering manner, "I was sent by my brother to stop any kind of contact between you and Justin."

She shook her head negatively, "God... Mond... it's just a date and nothing else, What could happen?"

"Anything can happen during a date."

"We are grown-ups, not..." A beeping sound was heard from Mercy's phone, Mercy checked and gulped loudly. "Your brother?" Mercy smiled innocently.

"It's not like... I..." She scratched her head.

Looking at her in recognition, "Oh... The beeps from your phone that sound every minute are messages from Mond." Mercy nodded. "Hand it over." Mercy did as instructed and Yvonne went through their messages.

The message started with him sending the address of the restaurant, instructing her to go there as a distraction, blah blah blah, till it got to where they settled down to eat. He sent her a lot of texts asking her silly questions.

Yvonne laughed, knowing him, he was serious about the questions. She read all till she got to the last one he sent, "Hope he isn't trying to win her heart? Is she smiling at him or blushing at his jokes?"

She was typing a reply when another message came in, "Are they kissing?" He sent it with an angry emoji. She laughed at the message.

"Maybe." She replied to his text, the selfish part of her wants him to rush to the restaurant in search of her and claim her as his.

He sent a whole lot of angry stickers and emojis, "Accept my Facetime." Immediately, he FaceTimed her as he sent the text and she picked.

She watched him breathe in and out trying to calm himself down, he looked up at her with his eyes closed, preparing himself for what he would see. He opened his eyes, expecting to see Justin and Yvonne kissing but saw Yvonne with her eyebrows raised.

He turned dumb on seeing her, "Huh... Mer... Hey, Kitten." He smiled. "What are you doing with Mercy's phone."

"You sent her here to spy on me."

He frowned, "I did. I hate the idea of you being with him so I sent my sis to stop any form of touching or kissing."

"The kissing is done at the girl's house after the guy drops her at home." She smirked.

He looked at her with fury, "Don't you dare. Every inch of your body belongs to me and me alone, no one else."

She placed her hand on her cheek, looking at him dreamily, "That's how all dates end, My love. Don't you remember how ours was?"

He stood up in anger, "That was us and it would forever be us. No form of kissing is taking place." She blinked rapidly.

"How would you do that?"

He smirked, "Wait for it, Kitten. You went on a date with him but would kiss me instead." He ended the call, satisfied with the reaction he got from her.

Yvonne looked at Mercy for an explanation but she shrugged and ran out of the restroom.

Justin and Samuel were discussing in low tones but stopped as they sighted Mercy, coming closer to the table, Samuel tried desperately to cover up his emotions but she saw through him. She could also sense the awkward tension between them.

"Everything okay between you two?" She asked, curious to know what they were talking about.

Justin gave her a forced smile, "Nothing. Where is Yvonne?"

"She's coming." It wasn't up to a minute she answered that Yvonne came back from the restroom.

"What took you so long, princess?" Justin asked.

"Nothing." She said. "I had to speak with my mom, my attention is needed at home."

"Oh..." Pointing at her purse, "But you left your purse here so how did you speak to her?"

"Hmm... I used Mercy's phone because I don't have airtime." Yvonne raised Mercy's phone to prove herself before giving it back to Mercy.

"Okay. Let's get going." Justin said to Yvonne.

Immediately, she stood, Samuel held her back from leaving, "Can I take you home? I need to have a word with you." He stood from his seat.

Justin eyed Samuel, "What is your problem?"

"I don't have a problem except you do," Samuel said with annoyance.

Yvonne looked at both of them surprised, "What is going on here?" They ignored her.

"Take your hand off her this minute or else..." Justin said in anger but he refused.

"What would you do?" He asked angrily.

Justin turned to Yvonne, "Tell him to let go of your arm."

Yvonne was shocked to see him so angry, "Justin calm down." She tried calming him down.

"Tell him to leave your hand."

"Justin... Calm..."

"Don't tell me to calm down. Tell him to release your hand from his." He waited for her to do so but instead, she watched him, "Why can't you tell him, huh? Are you also in love with him?"

Yvonne looked shocked at his question and at the same time, confused, "In love with him? Justin, what are you saying?"

Unexpectedly, Justin hit Samuel's arm with force down on the table, Yvonne's hand which was beneath Samuel's hit the table hard, making the table crack and break from the impact.

A piece of the glass pierced Yvonne's arm, She screamed in pain, "Ahh..." Holding onto her arm as it bled.

"Ahhhhh." Mercy shouted, on seeing Yvonne's arm bleed.

Justin gave deaf ears to Yvonne's cries, he held onto her bleeding arm and dragged her till they got outside. Yvonne was shocked at Justin's behavior, she hadn't expected him to behave like that and didn't know he had a hot temper.

She was brought back to the present by his tight grip on her hand and removed her hand with force from his, injuring herself the more, "Ahhh." She screamed again.

"You bitch, why didn't you remove your hand from his as you did just now? You have fallen for him, haven't you? Whore."

She hit him with her other hand, "How dare you!!! Who do you think you are? Bastard." He raised his hand to hit her but got held from behind.

Raymond had rushed with speed to the restaurant, he didn't care that he had broken all the traffic rules to get to her. He rushed out of his house immediately Mercy told him what happened.

"Don't even think it." He held Justin's hand high.

He pushed Justin aside and moved to Yvonne in a flash, "Are you okay?" He accessed her for any sign of injury and sighed in relief on seeing non.

He pulled her gently to himself but stopped as she cried out in pain, he felt a watery liquid on his hand, dropping from the arm he held, he raised her hand to confirm.

"JUSTIN." He yelled in anger. He turned to him and gave him a heavy punch on his cheek, Justin fell on the ground with a thud.

"How dare you touch her? Is this how to treat a woman? Not just any woman but my woman. I shouldn't have allowed her to go on this date with you." He picked him up and continued hitting him till Mercy and Samuel stopped him.

He turned away from him and went to help Yvonne into his car. He turned to Mercy after helping Yvonne settle down in the car, "Let's go, Mercy. He can take care of himself." Mercy nodded, whispered goodnight to Samuel before entering her brother's car, Raymond entered and drove off.

Yvonne couldn't protest as Raymond drove to another direction different from the one to her house. She watched him grip the steering wheel with anger and she knew better than to add to it.

He got to a huge gate, typed in some code on a screen, beside the gate, and drove in. Yvonne and Mercy were amazed at the size of the house and the design around it. "Wow, is this your house brother?"

"Yeah."

"Isn't Susan home? Won't she be angry to see me with you?" Yvonne asked with jealousy, clearly in her voice.

"Why do you stay in that rented apartment then?" Mercy asked before Raymond could reply to Yvonne.

"He stays in a rented apartment and owns a house as big as this?" Yvonne asked, surprised.

"I haven't brought anyone here since the house was built. it's only you two and that's today itself."

He parked his car and helped Yvonne out, he carried her in a bridal style into the house with Mercy, following them.

"Wow!!!" They exclaimed, making Raymond chuckle.

"Brother, I want to explore the house." Mercy squealed, looking around and moving out of the living room.

"Hey..." He stopped her, "Go and rest for today, tomorrow, you can do what you want."

"Thank you." She ran up the stairs from the excitement.

Yvonne laughed at her childish behavior, "You didn't ask where your room is." She shouted after Mercy.

Mercy stopped abruptly, at the top of the stairs, and turned to them, "Room?"

"The second door by your left."

"Thanks." She went away, Raymond shook his head negatively,

"She hasn't changed one bit." Raymond nodded and they laughed.

Raymond climbed the stairs to his room with Yvonne in his arms, "Welcome to my humble room," He said and bowed slightly as he dropped her on her feet.

She laughed, "Thanks."

"Let's clean up your wound." He held her other hand and led her to his bathroom, she sat down on the edge of his bathtub, admiring the designs and all while he went to get the first aid kit.

"Wow!!! Your bathroom is beautiful." She said as he knelt before her to treat the wound.

"Yea, it's beautiful now that the owner is home." He winked at her.

She looked confused, "The owner as in you haven't been here since it was... Ouch!!!"

"Sorry, Kitten." He pecked her hand. "My kiss reduces pains and heal wounds faster."

"You are supposed to kiss the owner of the hand instead."

"Is my baby jealous of her hand?" He cooed. "All done."

She looked at her hand, puzzled, "So fast?"

"I'm your distraction, Kitten." He winked.

He gave her room to shower and left a shirt and his briefs for her to wear. She changed to them before he came back to the room, he had gone to take a shower in one of the other rooms.

She had laid on the bed before he came in, "Kitten?" He whispered to her as he laid beside her.

"Yeah. I'm not sleeping." She giggled. "Mond, the kiss you had promised me."

He smirked, "I did not promise you but told you to expect it from me and not Justin." Yvonne blushed. "Oh... You could have just said you want me to kiss you and I would follow your command."

He moved closer to her and whispered into her ear, "Say you want me to kiss you."

She held his arm and moaned, feeling his breath on her neck, "Mond, I..."

"I don't have all night, Kitten. Say it."

"Kiss me." She whispered and he did as instructed without any resistance. Their tongue fought for dominance and Raymond won.

He moved her hand up over her head and held it together, "Ahhh..." Yvonne screamed. Raymond released her hands immediately he remembered the injury, he moved away from her but she held him down.

"It's not your fault. You forgot, same as me."

He nodded, "Am sorry. I need a cold shower first." He pointed at his boner, "See your handwork."

Yvonne blushed, covering her face to hide her blush, "Sorry."

"I'm not complaining." He laughed and left for the bathroom.

She waited for him till he was done and joined her in bed, "You said you haven't brought any girl here."

"Yeah."

"Are you afraid, Susan might not like it? She would love it. The house is beautiful."

"She would love it or not. It wasn't built for her to see it or enter, I built it for you, Kitten." He pecked her lips.

She smiled with tears in her eyes, "But I left you when you..."

He cleaned her tears, "Don't ruin this night with memories from the past. Let's sleep, okay?" She nodded and balanced herself on him.

"Goodnight, Mond."

"Night, my Kitten." They slept off.
