Sneaking in
Seraphina and Delphine made their way back to the secret resistance headquarters.
They entered the dimly lit room, filled with the soft hum of machinery and the scent of saltwater and Seraphina's sharp eyes quickly caught sight of a familiar face.
Nikolai, the mermaid who had recorded Delphine's arrival in Atlantis, was hunched over a table covered in maps and documents.
Their footsteps echoed in the chamber.
Seraphina cleared her throat, catching Nikolai's attention.
He turned, his expression shifting from surprise to recognition.
"Seraphina, Delphine" he greeted, a hint of a smile playing on his lips. "How can I help you today?"
Seraphina leaned forward, her gaze steady on Nikolai.
"There's something Delphine wants to discuss with you, actually, with us" she began, looking at her quickly.
"It's an important plan she's come up with."
Nikolai's eyebrows raised in curiosity.
