CHAPTER 5: MEANWHILE IN CRESCENT CITY

Damon was having a rough day, already. He wasn't in a good mood at all ever since he got back from school. There were a lot of things on his mind and they were all about, how to stop himself from killing a certain wolf called Iris.

Damon scoffed, as he replayed the video over and over again. It had already gotten 50,000 likes since its release three hours ago. He was at home, in his bedroom, his uniforms still on him, as he had jumped on his incredibly soft bed, groaning in anger.

How dare Iris make a mockery of him, in public. Over what? That shameless prostitute, kissing his classmate Simon just because he refuses to take her out on a date. She was shameless, both her and her wolf. He really hoped her future mate would reject her the instant, he sees her as she had no respect for it.

He was still watching that clip, when his mother yelled.

Damon! Your friend is here to see you. she yelled as Damon frowned.

Who on earth could possibly come to see him. Great, obviously it wasn't Iris, because he had instructed the guard not to let her in. He sighed as he yelled.

Coming! Obviously the only way to know was to find out, himself. He walked out in his uniform, and walked down the staircase, as he saw his mum, sitting with a teenage girl.

The first thing he noticed, was her slender fair legs, and her short skirt, followed by her crop top, and brown hair. He finally looked at her, as he was stunned.

Who the hell, is this beauty? His mind said as he looked from his mother to the girl.

Hey, Damon boo. The girl called out waving at him, as Damon looked back, behind him to check who she was talking to.

Who the hell is Damon boo? He asked as he looked around, but finding nobody. His wolf whined as it became quiet. Frankly he wasn't interested in being part of this conversation.

You silly. The girl said as Damon looked at her surprised.

I am sorry, but do I know you. he asked coming closer to check if he could recall, anything but his mind was coming blank. He could smell her, she was a wolf but he doesn't think she is from his pack, because she smelled different, as if she had been in another place for a very long time.

She immediately frowned as he held him, by the ears, and pulled him down to the knees, as he winced, in pain.

Why do you always love doing things the hard way? Didn't I say you shouldn't forget me huh? Is 10 years enough to make you not remember me huh? The girl barked at him, as Damon tried to free his ears.

Oww, mum, tell her to let me go. Damon said to his mum, who stood there, laughing at the scene.

Why should I? this is the first time, that I have seen a girl humbled you. I will be in my suite. You kids have fun. The mum said as she left, leaving him to his fate.

The girl let his ears go, and smacked him, on the head. Now do you remember me? She asked, as Damon muttered underneath his breath.

Geez, you remind me of a weird psychopath Ivy, from back…Ivy? He called out in surprise as the girl nodded her head, and smiled.

Yup, one and only, you remembered huh. Ivy said as he pulled her in a tight hug.

Damn, where the hell have you been all these years? I have missed you, so fucking much. Brandon said as Ivy smiled.

I missed you too, so how is everything. What have you been to? Ivy asked as they disengaged, as Brandon smiled foolishly scratching the back of his head, in shyness.

Well, nothing much really. I have just been here, and there. Travelling around with my parents, but for the moment we are here. Hopefully, I pray that I would be able to finish final year, before I finally become Alpha. I barely have a year, and I still need to find my mate before or on my birthday or I will be doomed.

What about you? he asked as Ivy shrugged as she said,

Well, after when we separated, when we were kids, my parents had a divorce, and so for a while, I lived with my dad, then about three years back, my mother asked the court that I should live with her, and here I am. Although I wondered how my mum is feeling, dad is her mate, will she find another one, after all the bullshit on how mates bond is strong and powerful. Ivy said shaking her head.

Wow, I am so sorry. Damon said, as she shrugged it off.

Believe me, I am okay with this arrangements, I got friends all over the place, and I always have another place to crash when one of my parents starts acting like a dick. Ivy said as she laughed.

Wow, you are really tall, you know. Did you eat some magic bean or something? I am barely reaching your shoulders. Ivy said as Damon laughed.

Well, I guess, I did grow over the years. Come, lets head over to my room, it is way comfortable, there, and besides anyone can come in, and distract us. Damon said as Ivy faked gasped, holding her chest.

My, oh, my. Damon, are you asking me to your bed, wow, I never knew you missed me this much to sleep with me already. What a naughty boy, you are, naughty, naughty. She said cautioning him, with her finger, as Damon laughed.

Come on, Ivy, you know, that is literally impossible, besides we are best friends, who has found each other after a very long time. Why would I ask my best friend to my bedroom, just to make out with her? Come on, I may be a bully, but I am still a gentleman.

Just kidding, I will piggy you back to the room. Ivy said laughing as she climbed on his back, as he groaned underneath the weight.

Damn it Ivy, what the hell have you been eating since I left you. Damon said struggling to gain back his balance.

Is that whinnying I am hearing from you, boy? Ivy asked as he shook his head, in negation.

No, ma'am. Am not complaining over here, I am peachy. Damon said between gritted teeth.

Then charge! She yelled as Damon started climbing the stairs, as their laughter's echoed throughout the mansion.
