Hazel in the Demon's Den

“I’ll marry anyone who will take me!” Hazel declared loudly. “I don’t need love!” “Get down!” Will hissed. “You don’t know what kind of people are lurking around in here! Talking like that might get you killed!” == Hazel Dixon thought she was putting her troubled past behind her. But when the person she thought she trusted most betrays her, she loses her head and proposes to an entire bar full of strangers. Enter Will Sheffield, a charming stranger who decides to take her up on her offer to save her from herself. He spoils her rotten without expecting anything in return and Hazel's confusion only grows. She doesn't know why he is acting this way. Or why he reminds her so much of the 'dangerous' childhood friend she thought was gone forever... *Cover art by polkadottedscrunchie*

The Wall

Hazel felt much more secure in her false identity now after so much practice. Being able to chat casually with two real Brits without a hint of suspicion on their faces was a much needed confidence boost.

Will sat back and listened for most of the conversation but contributed here and there. Once the food was done he picked Henry back up and resumed bouncing him as everyone talked.

Charlotte went off to play with her dolls and Angelina was released from her bonds so she could crawl around as she pleased after getting her food-smeared face wiped off. Diana kept an eye on her and had to get up a few times to stop her from getting into anything dangerous.

Watching her laugh about something her husband said regarding the horrors of liquefied baby food, Hazel couldn't help but smile. Diana was such a warm person that it made sense her husband would be the same.

The Taylors were really nice. Raising Henry with them as family friends might actually be fun.
