Having Her as My Waifu, WHO NEEDS A HAREM?!

Synopsis: "What's wrong with the Protagonist in stories with crossing-over story trope?! It's like they are losing their brain cells in their upper head that forces them to think with their lower head instead! Tch, this is why men are looked down upon... because they cannot think without using their lower dick when they write a story? Don't joke around, damn it! "What's the need for harem?! Many women and a single woman are no different! In the end, their pussies are at the same place with the same structure! What's important is love between the couple! A man can't love many women equally, it's bullshit! Bullshit, I say! Then there are those protagonists who outright raped any pretty women he meets! They are nothing but scum! Trash! "If I got transferred, transmigrated, or reincarnated to another world, I will stick with only one devoted wife and swear I am going to love her with all my heart and will be always faithful to her! I'm going to spend my entire life being lovey-dovey with her till even the most shameless stupid couple will puke honey and vomit sugar then die from diabetes! Humph!" Such was the rant of Jason Vinson, the protagonist of this story. He was single and virgin, and a self-proclaimed, stubborn feminist who believed in monogamy and the concept of loving and sharing happiness and misery with only one wife. Therefore, he wanted to find his true soulmate and didn't want to try dating flighty girls in his college. However——— He wasn't in his room anymore when he woke up. Furthermore——— *Ting~♪* [Congratulation! Jason Felt Cheated!

"Ah, I see... More or less, I understand how it works. But, it seems very similar to the status of the roleplaying game, isn't it? Furthermore, there are twenty ranks of techniques, equipment, etceteras in total. It seems a bit complicated. Either way, I think that I got it."

Jason nodded his head deeply. He then asked the system if he could check the content of the Storage, and the system displayed a list table in the holographic screen in his view. There was only one item and it was the Successor's Welcoming Gift Pack. He became curious and ordered the system to take it out from Storage.

"Alright! Take out that gift pack or whatever from Storage!"

*Ting~♪*

Jason heard the familiar ringtone. So familiar that he'd become utterly sick of it.

*Ting~♪* [...Taking out "Successor's Welcoming Gift Pack" from Storage. Item is taken out.]

Jason was taken aback when a polished wooden box with a dimension of 30 cm width, 40 cm length, and 20 cm height appeared from thin air and fall on his lap. He stared at it for a short while, dumbfounded by the out of norm occurrence. What do you expect? He was only a regular, ordinary young man just the night before!

After asking the system to take out the box from the Storage, Jason didn't immediately open it. He just stated at it deep curiosity and heavy suspicion. He poked the box timidly for a few seconds. He couldn't trust the thing he received from the system at face value.

Some of you may think his paranoia was excessive, but I beg to differ if you are in his position. After all, Jason was torn off of his life and dumped into an unreasonable situation with a high expectation put upon his fragile mortal shoulders with the threat of death for failure. It was only normal that Jason was wary.

Finally, Jason steeled himself and opened the box. "Huh?" He was surprised when he saw a vial of blood with a tag tied on it, two books, and a heavy envelope. He blinked his eyes in bewilderment.

After a few seconds, Jason recovered from his confusion. He took out the vial first and eyed the red liquid inside. It seemed like blood. He then checked the tag and read the text in it, "Blood Essence of System's Creator. Grants special physique for the successor? Consuming it to obtain the benefit?"

Jason paused for a few seconds as the corners of his lips twitched furiously. He became speechless and annoyed after reading the tag. He then commented in annoyance, "The heck? Do you think I'm a vampire or what?"

Jason returned the vial into the box and checked the other things. He checked the two books next. It was a bundle of high-quality papers tied together with string, which was sewn at the left of the book. The cover was pure white. There were unknown symbols written vertically on the cover. He was sure that those symbols weren't Chinese.

"Cosmic Refining Godly Manuals?"

Yet, he could read it perfectly.

Jason became suspicious of it and asked the system about his newfound linguistic skill, "System, do you know why I can understand this alien language?"

*Ting~♪* [Answering Host's inquiry: It's due to System's power to directly imprint knowledge of this language into Host's mind.]

Jason felt chill on his spine when he heard that. He didn't like the sound of it. Though the system seemed to be his ally, he felt his privacy was violated because of the system's ability to modify his mind without his knowing.

Alas, Jason could do nothing about the system because it had fused with his soul. The only way to be free was to commit suicide, but he didn't want to die so early. There were many things he wanted to do before his death. And one of them was leaving his legacy *Cough* descendant *Cough* in the world.

After a few minutes of brooding, Jason heaved a sigh full of resignation. He could only move forward and hope for the best for the time being. He then decided to open the book. As he opened the cover, it was when something happened.

*Ting~♪* [Does Host want System to scan the manual and imprint the information directly to Host's mind?]

"Oh? You can do something like that, huh? Fine. Do it. Don't waste my time," Jason replied at once. He felt a tad relieved that the system could do it. He didn't want to waste his time reading it if he could help it.

[System initiates scanning... Scanning starts... Scanning in progress... Scanning completed. Imprint the scanned content into Host's mind?]

"Yes," Jason replied decisively.

The next moment, Jason underwent a very interesting experience. He just remembered the content of the book, which had been translated into the language he was familiar with. The memory just appeared out of the blue. It was almost similar to when you remember something you have forgotten a long time ago.

Other than that, Jason realized how clear the memory was. From this discovery, he wondered if System could scan all books and imprint the content in his mind. If System was able to do that, it means he would obtain something like a photographic memory and he could see how it will help him.

Jason decided to check the new information in his mind. After a few minutes of scrutinizing his new memory, Jason discovered it was actually cultivation merit. It was called Cosmic Refining Scripture. Short and to the point.

From the information, Jason realized that he needed the Cosmic Refining Physique to practice this cultivation merit without endangering himself. He couldn't help but glance at the vial and wondered if the blood in the vial had any relation with it.

"Do I need to drink this blood, really? It is disgusting," Jason protested to the System and scrunched his face. He never drank blood intentionally before. Just imagining it was enough to give him nausea.

*Ting~♪* [Host needs to ingest Creator's Blood Essence to obtain Creator's special physique. If Host practices Cosmic Refining Godly Manuals without Creator's special Physique, there is a chance that Host's Crimson Palace and Third Eye will explode due to overflowing energy before it can be stored in Elixir Field.]

Jason's expression became aghast when he heard that. His body shuddered when he imagined his gruesome death. He remembered that Crimson Palace was a dantian located in the heart, Third Eye was a dantian in the forehead, and finally, Elixir Field was below the navel. If those two places burst out, didn't it mean that his heart and forehead will burst out too? That would be a gruesome death indeed. And Jason didn't want to die!

With a complex look, Jason weighed his decision for a few minutes. In the end, he resigned himself and made up his mind to ingest the blood. Despite his disgust, he thought it was better than having his heart exploded gruesomely.

"Ugh... I felt like I really got cheated. Well, no pain, no gain, I suppose."

With a heavy heart, Jason took out the vial and uncorked it. He stared at the slimy, viscous, red liquid with clear disgust in his paling face. He then closed his eyes and drunk the vial clean. He shuddered when he tasted the coppery taste of blood and how slimy it was in his throat.

The next moment, he received another notice from system.

*Ting~♪* [Host has ingested Creator's Blood Essence. Host will enter hibernation period until the process of transforming Host's body completed. Forcing Host to sleep in... 3... 2... 1...]

Jason was wide-eyed, caught off guard, by the notification. However, before he could protest, he felt very sleepy. It was at the point of being impossible for fighting off the urge to fall asleep. In the end, Jason lost his consciousness in the same alley for the second time.

If somebody sees him, they will think that Jason is a pitiful hobo because of his choice of sleeping location!
