This is a little slow paced and also somewhat slice of life story so keep that in mind, that focuses more on Alaric's relationship. There will be heavy changes to the original plot so be aware and also MC becomes overpowered rather quickly as the story moves forward and he won't hesitate to take some drastic measures if necessary, so he won't have a moral compass. Skyraider caused quite a stir during the Quidditch training at Ravenclaw.
Riding the Skyraider, Alaric seemed to transform into a flash, as he flew through the air.
The Skyraider performed excellently. As soon as Alaric touched it lightly, it would accurately change direction, as if obeying his thoughts rather than his actions.
Its speed was so fast that everything around became blurry shadows—prompting Alaric to decide to train his dynamic vision.
In terms of turning, it also performed well. Alaric, riding the Skyraider, would make seemingly inexplicable sharp turns, causing screams from Cho Chang, but the Skyraider always executed them steadily.
"I dare say, this is better than any broomstick on the market," Roger praised the Skyraider highly. "I feel with this, you can defeat Gryffindor single-handedly."
Although Harry Potter's performance in the last match put pressure on the team, the appearance of this new broomstick inspired them completely.
They felt that Ravenclaw had a strong chance of winning the Quidditch Cup this time.
After the training, Cho Chang nervously reminded Alaric, "Remember to hide your broomstick when you go back.
If I were Gryffindor's captain, I would find a way to steal or destroy your broomstick before the match."
"Well, they can give it a try," Alaric said nonchalantly, smiling.
After making the flying broomstick, Alaric used his special materials to make a wand for himself.
Of course, since wands focus more on materials, size, and compatibility with the owner rather than craftsmanship, he didn't spend too much time this time.
The wand's wood came from the mother tree of three World Trees in Azeroth, G'hanir's branches, and it was the favorite of the demigod Elune.
The core material was Azerite, the dominator of arcane, knowledge, mystery, and magical substances—the beard of "Dreamweaver" Nozdormu.
Nozdormu also came from the Warcraft world, a creation Titan of the Pantheon, giving Malygos the power to control magic.
Combining these two materials created an unprecedentedly powerful wand, even legendary wands wouldn't have such power.
The wand was twelve inches long, resilient, and elastic. Alaric named it "Spellweaver," just like Malygos's nickname.
No one knew that the world's most powerful wand in the world was made in the Room of Requirement.
Due to Alaric's strong control, no one noticed that his magic had become much more powerful.
...
In mid-March, it seemed that fate didn't want Hogwarts to have peaceful days. This time, an accident occurred at Hagrid's hut.
He had a dragon.
No one knew how he got a dragon egg, but he hid the dragon egg in his small cabin and hatched it using the fireplace.
It was a rare Norwegian Ridgeback, with a thin black body, spiky wings, a long nose, white nostrils, lumps on its head, and orange eyes that protrude outward.
Hagrid named it Norbert.
However, privately raising a dragon was illegal in the wizarding world. In 1709, the Wizarding Council officially passed the Dragon Breeding Ban.
Hagrid made great efforts to conceal everything but was eventually discovered.
First, Harry and Ron found him borrowing books about raising dragons in the library and brought the books to the cabin.
Then, he was seen by, who came to tease Norbert, a special cat with human intelligence. She told Alaric about everything.
Alaric always had a special curiosity about dragons, because in his previous life, dragons were a very famous fantasy creature with powerful magic, and he hoped he would get some kind of information from this one.
So, he enthusiastically proposed to Hagrid that he conduct a series of observations on Norbert and in return he would provide some help to Hagrid in raising Norbert.
For Norbert's sake, Hagrid agreed to Alaric's conditions during live observations.
In return, Alaric provided magical services during the dragon's upbringing, including brewing potions to prevent diseases, giving the dragon a daily flame bath and casting a spell on Hagrid's cabin every three days to protect it.
Due to Alaric's assurance that he would only take a bit of blood and collect some of Norbert's shed keratin, not harming him, Hagrid agreed to the conditions for Norbert's growth.
However, the most unfortunate thing is that out of curiosity, Harry and Alaric skipped class on the day Norbert hatched.
As a result, Harry was followed by Malfoy, so now Malfoy also knew about the dragon.
And Malfoy always had evil intentions regarding their group.
He knew if this was revealed, Hagrid would be fired.
In fact, the next week the malicious smile hiding on Malfoy's face made Harry and Ron very uneasy.
They had to spend most of their spare time in Hagrid's dark cabin, trying to reason with him.
"Just let it go," Harry advised.
"Let it go."
"I can't," said Hagrid.
"It's too small and will surely die if I leave it out."
In just one week, its length has tripled. Clouds of smoke puffed out from its nostrils.
Hagrid put aside his job of guarding the hunting ground because the little dragon made him busy.
The floor was littered with empty brandy bottles and chicken feathers.
Hagrid looked at the little dragon with eyes blurred by tears and said, "It really knows me now, you look at it. Norbert! Norbert! Where is mother?"
Harry raised his voice, "In two weeks, Norbert will be as big as your house. Malfoy can go to Dumbledore any time."
Hagrid bit his lip.
"I--I know I can't keep it forever, but I can't throw it away like this."
Finally, Harry had an idea, and he thought of Ron's brother, Charlie Weasley.
Charlie was studying dragons in Romania, and he was the most suitable person Harry knew to take over for Norbert.
So Ron sent Charlie a letter.
Alaric had as a different view on this.
"In fact, even if Dumbledore knew about Norbert's existence he wouldn't do anything that drastic." During a routine observation of the dragon, Alaric suggested.
"Although Dumbledore is always planning something mysterious, overall he is a good guy. I don't understand why you Gryffindors are always unwilling to believe him? He's not as bad as Snape."
Harry and Ron were speechless at his words, but they still insisted on their opinions.
But the unlucky thing was that Charlie Weasley's reply to Ron got stuck in a borrowed book, which was then borrowed by Malfoy.
In other words, Malfoy knew that Norbert was going to be sent away on Saturday.
As per the original plot, Malfoy ultimately failed to prevent Norbert from being sent away by Harry.
However, perhaps due to Alaric's presence, Malfoy didn't dare to stop everything in the castle.
Still, he wanted to see Harry's misfortune, and wanted to deal with Harry's friends.
So, he made another decision.
And so, the unexpected happened.
