Nimbus 2001

After the introduction, Edward and the others began to sit with Luna and her father.

Edward didn't expect to see Luna here. And after seeing Luna directly, Edward knew that even though Luna was rather eccentric and different from the others, she is actually a true Ravenclaw and always loyal to her friends.

Luna watched them over her upside-down magazine, which was called The Quibbler. Then she stared at Edward, who was sitting next to her.

"Are you new students this year?" asked Luna confusedly when she saw Edward not carrying new school supplies like the other new students.

"Oh, yes" replied Edward and added after seeing Luna who kept staring at him, " Professor Mcgonagall has taken me to Diagon Alley to buy school supplies a month ago".

"Oh, i see" said Luna, "Will you meet Ginny again later?"

"Yes, we will gather again at Flourish and Blotts" answered Edward, then asked Luna, "Is Ginny your friend?".

"Yes, we have been friends since childhood"

"Why don't you come with us to Flourish and Blotts later, I'm sure Ginny is happy to meet you". said Edward suddenly.

Edward felt sorry for Luna. Maybe Ginny is the only friend she has since childhood. He wanted to introduce Luna to Harry, Hermione, and others.

Although Luna's house was close to the Weasleys' house, Edward was sure Luna rarely interacted with them.

"I don't know, we just returned from Flourish and Blotts" said Luna, staring at her father with hopeful eyes.

Mr. Lovegood, who is currently working on his writing, heard what his daughter said and immediately raised his head.

"Luna my dear, you can meet your friend, I will finish my own work" said Mr. Lovegood happily, "I'm sure Arthur will take you home later".

Mr. Lovegood is glad his daughter can have friends. He has always been worried about his daughter since his wife died.

Hearing her father's agreement, Luna smiled brightly and nodded to Edward.

While Edward and Luna were talking, Mr. Weasley looked very enthusiastic. He kept asking about muggles to Mr. and Mrs. Granger, and that makes them feel helpless. Mrs. Granger even looked at Edward to ask for his help.

Seeing that, Edward felt sorry for them, so he tried to distract Mr. Weasley by asking him questions.

"Mr. Weasley, I heard from Hermione that you work at the Ministry of Magic?"

Hearing Edward's question, Mr. Weasley's eyes immediately lit up.

Mr. Weasley later related that he worked in The Misuse of Muggle Artefacts Office, a place that is regulated the use of magic on Muggle objects and tried to keep items that had been enchanted away from Muggles.

Mr. Weasley also said to Edward, what was meant by the enchanted object and what was the danger for muggles or wizards who were wrong in using it.

"Mr. Weasley, do you mean things like cars can be enchanted?" asked Edward with interest.

Edward knew many other things that could be enchanted besides cars, such as Sirius Black's two-way mirror, Marauder Map, the ceiling in the Hogwarts hall or other objects.

What he wanted to know was how to make it, that's why when he heard Mr. Weasley talk about enchanted objects, Edward was very interested in hearing that.

After sharing his experience, about enchanted objects. Mr. Weasley also told Edward that the mass production of these objects was strictly prohibited. That's why until now there are only a few things that can be enchanted.

Half an hour later, Edward looking at his watch, and realized that it was time to gather at Flourish and Blotts.

"Mr. Weasley seems like it's time for us to gather, I'm sure the others are waiting" said Edward suddenly.

After saying goodbye to Mr. Lovegood, they walked out of the Leaky Cauldron with Luna who came with them.

"Ed, don't you say you want to buy something?" said Mrs. Granger to Edward.

"Yes, I want to buy a broomstick" said Edward with a smile.

"Are you sure you want to buy a broomstick now?" asked Mr. Weasley.

"I know that the first year is not allowed to carry it" said Edward, shrugging his shoulders, "But no one said, that I could not entrust it to others".

"Hmm, that makes sense" nodded Mr. Weasley.

After walking for several minutes, Edward and the others suddenly saw a Quality Quidditch Supplies store that was currently full of visitors. Judging from their faces, it seems that most of them are students of Hogwart.

After entering the store, Edward walked directly to the shop employee.

"What do you want boy?" asked the shop employee with a frown.

"I want to buy the latest Nimbus!" said Edward immediately.

"Are you serious? where is your parents?" said the shop employee surprised.

Seeing the shop employee still not believe, Edward immediately took out a bag full of Galleons.

Seeing that, the shop employee was surprised, and thought that Edward stole it from someone else.

"Where did you get that kind of money?" asked the shop employee suspiciously.

"Edward, have you bought your broomstick?" suddenly there was a voice behind Edward. Without looking back, Edward knew it was Mr. Weasley's voice.

Seeing an adult standing behind the boy, the shop employee now believed that Edward really wanted to buy a broomstick.

Soon, the store employees brought the latest Nimbus, Nimbus 2001. This is the fastest broomstick before the Firebolt. The broom itself is black and silver with revolving stirrups.

Seeing the broomstick, Edward's eyes began to sparkle.

After paying the broomstick to the shop employee, Edward brought Nimbus 2001 out of the shop.
