BONDS, AWAKENING AND REGENCY

Harry woke up the next day in the Potter castle, a sense of anticipation coursing through him. The previous day's duel with Bellatrix had left him exhilarated, eager to delve deeper into the intricacies of magical combat. As he went through his morning routine, a sense of determination fuelled his every action.

After finishing his breakfast, Harry made his way to the training room, where Cosmos awaited him. The majestic phoenix greeted him with a melodic trill, its fiery plumage shimmering in the morning light.

"Morning, Harry. You did well in your duel yesterday," Cosmos greeted him warmly.

"Thank you, Cosmos. I'm eager to continue my training," Harry replied, a determined glint in his eyes.

Cosmos nodded, a knowing look in its radiant gaze. "Today, we shall focus on refining your abilities to manipulate vacuum, as well as honing your skills in bird speech and wand less flight."

Excitement surged within Harry as he listened to Cosmos's words. Vacuum manipulation was a complex and advanced magical technique, one that required precision and control. Bird speech, on the other hand, was a skill that would deepen his bond with his familiar and Hedwig along with all the other birds allowing them to communicate on a deeper level. And wand less flight, the ability to soar through the air without the aid of a broomstick or wand, was a feat that few wizards ever mastered.

With determination burning in his heart, Harry took his position in the centre of the training room, his wand at the ready. Cosmos hovered nearby, its luminous presence casting a warm glow over the room.

"Let us begin," Cosmos said, its voice a melodious echo in Harry's mind.

Closing his eyes, Harry focused his thoughts on the concept of vacuum. He visualized the empty space, devoid of air or matter, and concentrated on the sensation of drawing that emptiness towards him.

With a flick of his wand and a whispered incantation, Harry began to channel his magic, manipulating the air molecules around him. Slowly but surely, a small pocket of vacuum formed in the centre of the room, a tangible absence amidst the surrounding air.

Cosmos watched with keen interest as Harry continued to refine his technique, his movements precise and controlled. With each repetition, the vacuum grew stronger, its effects more pronounced.

After what felt like hours of intense focus, Harry finally released his spell, the vacuum dissipating into the air. Beads of sweat glistened on his forehead as he took a deep breath, a sense of satisfaction washing over him.

"You're making excellent progress, Harry," Cosmos praised, its eyes glowing with pride. "But remember, mastering vacuum manipulation requires patience and practice. Keep honing your skills, and you will achieve mastery."

Encouraged by Cosmos's words, Harry turned his attention to the next aspect of his training: bird speech. With a gentle nod to his familiar, he closed his eyes once more, reaching out with his mind to connect with Cosmos on a deeper level.

In his mind's eye, Harry found himself transported to a vast expanse of sky, the wind ruffling his feathers as he soared alongside Cosmos. Through the bond they shared, he could feel the phoenix's emotions, its thoughts echoing in his mind like a symphony of colours and sensations.

With determination coursing through his veins, Harry focused his thoughts, attempting to mimic the melodic trills and chirps of his familiar. At first, his attempts were clumsy and disjointed, but with each repetition, he began to find his rhythm, his words flowing more naturally.

Cosmos watched with keen interest, its eyes alight with approval. Together, they danced through the ether, their minds intertwined in a timeless dance of song and spirit.

As the training session drew to a close, Harry felt a sense of contentment wash over him. Though he still had much to learn, he knew that with Cosmos by his side, anything was possible.

But their work was far from over. With a determined glint in his eyes, Harry turned his gaze towards the sky, a silent promise etched upon his heart.

One day, he would soar among the stars, his spirit unbound and free. And with Cosmos as his guide, he knew that the journey would be nothing short of extraordinary.

The training room was filled with a palpable energy as Harry and Cosmos delved into their rigorous practice. Harry was fully immersed in honing his magical abilities when suddenly, the tranquillity of the moment was shattered by the activation of the two-way mirror. Expecting to see his godfather Sirius's face, Harry was taken aback when the image of Cassiopeia, his aunt, appeared instead.

"Harry," her voice carried a sense of urgency, "Your grandmother woke up from the coma."

For a moment, Harry felt a surge of conflicting emotions. Relief flooded through him at the news of Lady Euphemia Dorea Potter's awakening, but it was quickly overshadowed by a wave of grief as memories of his parents' deaths resurfaced.

Swallowing hard, Harry composed himself before responding to Cassiopeia. "Thank you for letting me know. I'll be there right away."

With a quick word of thanks to Cosmos, Harry hastily made his way to Dorea's chambers. His heart raced with a mix of anticipation and trepidation as he prepared to face the woman who had been like a grandmother to him.

Entering the room, Harry found Euphemia Dorea lying in bed, her eyes wide with bewilderment as she took in her surroundings. She looked frail and fragile, her once vibrant spirit now dimmed by years of unconsciousness.

The room was filled with a hushed stillness as Harry sat by his grandmother's bedside, her frail form a stark contrast to the memories he held of her vibrant presence. Lady Euphemia Dorea Potter lay in a state of unconsciousness, her once lively spirit now dormant for three long years. But today, a glimmer of hope pierced the darkness as Harry received the unexpected news of her awakening.

Harry found Euphemia lying in bed, her eyes fluttering open as she took in her surroundings. Relief washed over him at the sight of her awake, but it was quickly overshadowed by a wave of grief as he realized the extent of her suffering.

"Grandmother," Harry's voice trembled with emotion as he approached her bedside, "It's me, Harry."

Euphemia's eyes widened in recognition as she gazed up at him, a faint smile tugging at the corners of her lips. "Harry, my dear boy," her voice was barely above a whisper, filled with a mixture of joy and sorrow.

Tears welled up in Harry's eyes as he took her hand in his, the weight of years of separation and longing crashing down upon him. "I'm so glad you're awake, Grandmother."

For a moment, they simply sat in silence, each lost in their own thoughts and emotions. Then, with a heavy heart, Harry began to recount the events of his past years-the loss of his parents, the abuse and neglect he had endured at the hands of the Dursleys, and his rigorous training to become a skilled wizard.

Euphemia listened intently, her eyes brimming with tears as she absorbed the magnitude of Harry's suffering. Her heart ached for the pain he had endured, the loneliness he had faced without her guidance and support.

"My dear boy," Euphemia's voice cracked with emotion as she reached out to embrace him, "I had no idea. I can't imagine what you've been through. I am so sorry, Harry," Lady Euphemia's voice was filled with remorse, "I should have been there for you."

Harry shook his head, a sense of forgiveness washing over him. "It's not your fault, Grandmother. You couldn't have known what was happening to me."

Harry clung to her, the warmth of her embrace offering a fleeting sense of solace amidst the turmoil of his emotions. "I missed you so much, Grandmother," he whispered, his voice choked with tears.

With a heavy sigh, Euphemia reached out to wipe away Harry's tears, her touch filled with love and compassion. "I promise, Harry, I'll never leave your side again. We'll face whatever challenges come our way together."

A sense of warmth spread through Harry's heart at her words, a glimmer of hope shining through the darkness that had engulfed him for so long. Over the following hours, Harry remained by his grandmother's side, sharing stories and memories of happier times. He talked to her about his friends and allies, recounting his good times with a sense of pride.

As they sat together and talked, lost in the embrace of their reunion, Harry felt a sense of peace wash over him. Though the road ahead would be fraught with challenges and obstacles, he knew that with his grandmother's love and support, he could face whatever the future held. And as they shared stories and caught up on lost time, Harry felt a renewed sense of hope and determination to forge his own destiny, one filled with love, magic, and the unwavering bond of family.

3 months later the grand chamber of the Wizengamot was abuzz with anticipation as the esteemed members of the wizarding world gathered for the highly anticipated session. Minister Cornelius Fudge sat at the head of the chamber, his expression a mask of false geniality as he greeted the assembled witches and wizards.

At his side, Albus Dumbledore, the revered Chief Warlock, exuded an aura of wisdom and authority as he surveyed the room with keen interest. His piercing blue eyes twinkled behind half-moon spectacles, betraying a keen intelligence that belied his gentle demeanour.

Arcturus Black the ever imposing regal man was sitting silently with an unreadable look on his face, he wanted his sister's claim to regency and guardianship to occur without much of a hassle.

As the session commenced, the members of the Wizengamot settled into their seats, their robes billowing in the faint breeze that swept through the chamber. The air crackled with tension as Minister Fudge cleared his throat, preparing to address the assembly.

"Ladies and gentlemen of the Wizengamot," Fudge began, his voice echoing throughout the chamber, "we are gathered here today to address a matter of utmost importance."

He paused for a moment, allowing his words to sink in before continuing. "As many of you are aware, Lady Euphemia Dorea Potter, esteemed member of this council, has recently emerged from a prolonged period of unconsciousness."

A murmur of interest rippled through the chamber at this announcement, the members exchanging curious glances and whispered conversations.

Fudge gestured toward the doors at the back of the chamber, where Lady Euphemia stood, resplendent in her robes of office. Her presence commanded attention as she made her way to the front of the chamber, her chin held high and her gaze steady.

"Lady Euphemia," Fudge addressed her with a deferential nod, "we are grateful for your presence here today. The Wizengamot eagerly awaits your words."

Lady Euphemia inclined her head in acknowledgment before addressing the assembly. Her voice was clear and unwavering as she spoke, each word carrying the weight of authority and determination.

"My fellow members of the Wizengamot," Lady Euphemia began, her voice ringing out with quiet strength, "I stand before you today to reclaim the regency of seats that rightfully belong to the ancient and noble houses of Potter, Peverell, Hufflepuff, Gryffindor, and Ravenclaw."

A ripple of astonishment swept through the chamber at her words, the members exchanging incredulous glances and murmured conversations. It was unprecedented for a single individual to hold claim to so many prestigious seats within the Wizengamot.

Fudge, however, maintained a facade of composed neutrality as he addressed Lady Euphemia. "Lady Euphemia, while we certainly acknowledge your esteemed lineage, I must remind you that the process of reclaiming seats within the Wizengamot is not to be taken lightly."

Lady Euphemia met his gaze with steely resolve, her chin lifted defiantly as she spoke. "Minister Fudge, I assure you that my claim to these seats is both legitimate and just. The Potter, Peverell, Hufflepuff, Gryffindor, and Ravenclaw families have long been integral members of this council, and it is my duty to ensure that their voices are heard once more."

A hush fell over the chamber at her words, the members of the Wizengamot exchanging uncertain glances as they contemplated the implications of Lady Euphemia's declaration.

Dumbledore, ever the voice of reason, rose from his seat with a solemn expression. "Minister Fudge, Chief Warlock Dumbledore," he addressed them both with a respectful nod, "I believe it is in the best interests of the wizarding community to grant Lady Euphemia's request."

Fudge balked at Dumbledore's words, his expression one of thinly veiled frustration. "Chief Warlock Dumbledore, need I remind you of the protocols and procedures that govern the Wizengamot? We cannot simply hand over seats without due consideration."

Dumbledore regarded Fudge with a steady gaze, his eyes filled with quiet resolve. "Minister Fudge, while I understand the need for caution, we cannot ignore the wishes of Lady Euphemia. She is a respected member of this council, and her request deserves our full attention."

Arcturus also chimed in, "Esteemed members of this body, we have to agree to this as granting the seats to the members of families through whose bodies run the families blood if claimed without any dispute from other family members is a fundamental law, breaking this law will set a very bad precedence that your right and inheritance will not be provide to you."

Everyone the agreed with Arcturus. Fudge hesitated for a moment, his expression fraught with uncertainty as someone with so much power could be a threat to his administration. But in the end, he relented, bowing to the collective will of the Wizengamot. "Very well," he conceded, "the seats of the Potter, Peverell, Hufflepuff, Gryffindor, and Ravenclaw families shall be reclaimed by Lady Euphemia Dorea Potter."

A wave of applause erupted throughout the chamber at Fudge's announcement, the members of the Wizengamot rising to their feet in a show of respect and solidarity. Lady Euphemia, her expression one of quiet satisfaction, accepted their applause with a gracious nod before taking her seat among the esteemed members of the council.

The break was then announced and the Council was to continue after the recess session.
