16. "Seriously Three-headed dog in a SCHOOL!!!!"

[Hermione gasps]

HARRY: What's happening?

HERMIONE: The staircases change, remember? 

[The staircase stops, leading to a corridor.]

HARRY: [taps Ron and drags Zara with him] Let's go this way.

ZARA: Wait-...

RON: Before the staircase moves again.

[They all open a door and walk into a spooky, dark, and deserted corridor.]

HARRY: Does anyone feel like...we shouldn't be here?

(still holding Zara's hand)

ZARA: We're not supposed to be here. This is the 3rd floor. It's forbidden.

[Suddenly, a flame lights on ll stone support. At that moment, Filch's cat, Mrs. Norris, comes running in and meows. The group jumps.]

HARRY: Let's go.

[Mrs. Norris meows]

RON: It's Filch's cat!

HARRY: Run!

[The six run through the corridor, flames are lit up on the stone supports, one by one, as they run past. They get to the end of the corridor, to a door.]

HARRY: Quick! Let's hide through that door!

[Harry grabs the handle, but it's locked.]

HARRY: It's locked!

RON: That's it, we're done for!

ZARA: Oh, move over! [pushes through and pulls out her wand, aiming it at the lock] Alohomora. [The door's lock lifts magically and it opens.] Get in. [They bustle in.]

RON: Alohomora?

(He asked Zara but Hermione replied.)

HERMIONE: Standard book of spells, Chapter 7.

[Filch arrives at the start of the corridor with light. Mrs. Norris looks at him.]

FLICH: Anyone here, my sweet? [Mrs. Norris meows] Come on. [they leave the corridor.]

DRACO: Filch is gone.

RON: Probably thinks this door's locked.

PANSY: It was locked.

ZARA: And for good reason.

 [Ron, Hermione, Draco, and Pansy turn to stand with Zara and Harry. There is a massively huge three-headed dog sleeping in front of them. The dog begins to wake. Zara was shocked as she lost balance and fell on Harry. Suddenly, It growls, yawns, and growls more...noticing the intruders.]

ALL: AHHHHHHH! 

[The six-bolt, running out of the door. They turn quickly to shut the door and battle against the dog. They get the door shut and run. After reaching an empty corridor, they were breathless.]

DRACO: Shit!! There are only 10 minutes more before the class starts.

[He said looking at his watch.]

PANSY: What!!!!

ZARA: OK guys, let's talk about this tomorrow. We have something to do right now.

[They nodded, Zara, Draco, and Pansy ran to the Astronomy tower. While Harry, Ron, and Hermione returned to the Gryffindor Common Room.]

RON: What do they think they're doing?? Keeping a thing like that locked up in a school.

HERMIONE: You don't use your eyes, do you? Didn't you see what it was standing on?

RON: I wasn't looking at its feet! I was a bit preoccupied with its heads. Or maybe you didn't notice, there were three!

 [they begin to climb the stairs to the dorms.]

HERMIONE: It was standing on a trap door. Which means it wasn't there by accident. It's guarding something.

HARRY: Guarding something?

HERMIONE: That's right. That's why Zara said let's talk about this tomorrow. Now, if you two don't mind, I'm going to bed before either of you comes up with another clever idea to get us killed... or worse, expelled! 

[turns and leaves, shutting the door to her dormitory.]

RON: She needs to sort out her priorities!

[Harry nods in agreement]

But Hermione had given Harry something else to think about as he climbed back into bed. The dog was guarding something…What had Hagrid said? Gringotts was the safest place in the world for something you wanted to hide — except perhaps Hogwarts.

It looked as though Harry had found out where the grubby little package from vault seven hundred and thirteen was. ~~~~~~

BACK WITH ZARA. Zara's POV

[ We run to the Astronomy Tower as fast as we can. When we reached the classroom, we sighed in relief and stood there for a minute trying to control our breath. Suddenly someone taps my shoulder. ]

ZARA: ARAArgh... Ha, Professor. Oh god (Chuckles nervously.) Hi there Professor Aurora. Sorry for being late.

(Draco and Pansy nodded their heads.)

Professor AURORA: Hi there deary, You guys are not that late go, get inside let's start the class.

[As we sat down in an empty place Professor started the class.]

Professor AURORA: Since today is your first day let's see how to use your telescope and star chart.

[As the professor instructed we took our respective belongings, I mean our telescope and star chart.]

Professor AURORA: A star chart was a written document. It was used to represent the positions and movements of the stars, pretty much like an ordinary map. Astronomers usually use these for research or study. An O.W.L.-level wizard or witch should be able to fill in a blank star chart based on some hours of sky gazing in Astronomy.

While A telescope was a device used for seeing faraway objects. Those used in the wizarding world were presumably magical to some extent, as they could be used to see objects that would be impossible to see with a Muggle telescope.

[As the professor said some took notes while somewhere sleepy, but I was still thinking about the three-headed dog, Many questions were in my mind like, What was it guarding?? But my main concern was what a THREE HEADED DOG IS DOING IN A SCHOOL!???, But I felt like I understood what it spoke it was like getting out or something. I was in deep thought until my bro disturbed me.... ]
