Wait, where is the pain?
Elena blinked and instantly all the blood clouding her vision disappeared. She touched her neck in astonishment but there was nothing.
She heard a loud banging noise and looked, only to be astonished by what she saw. There, the big wolf that she thought had killed her, had thrown itself on one of the surrounding tree, leaving it stunned.
It fell to the ground and the area around its head absorbed it. The same was happening to its limbs. By the time the wolf regained its senses its head was completely buried in the ground, while its limbs were half buried.
It tried to get out, but most of the wolf's strength came from its torso, which didn't help its rather weaker limbs to get out. It only took 10 seconds for it to stop struggling because of being unable to breath.
Elena had watched as its movements grew weaker and weaker until it died. There were other wolves watching but they seemed to be slightly intelligent as they retreated quickly. She recognized this move. She turned around and saw Arthur had his wand down.
She felt graceful and was about to thank him when she caught up with the situation. When she seemingly died, it was nothing but an illusion. And who was the person who had shown himself to use illusions?
She clenched her fists and said "Why did you do that!" Arthur frowned and said "I just saved you, don't you think you are rude…"
But before he could continue Elena had began rushing at him. Despite the distance between them being short, Elena wasn't fast enough as to not let Arthur any way to defend himself.
The tip of Arthur's wand lit up lightly. Elena was distracted by it and prepared herself for getting struck by a powerful spell, but as she continued running she felt nothing.
She shrugged it off as a failed spell and continued her run toward Arthur. Less than a second after she already was less than ten centimeters from him.
As her hand went for his neck, she suddenly felt as if she had collided with a metal wall instead of a human. She was greatly alarmed by this and the instant she touched 'Arthur's' neck, he transformed into a tree.
She was going too fast and was too close to stop herself, so she collided with the tree at a fast speed. She couldn't possibly stop herself in such a short time. She knocked into the tree hardly.
At first she thought she would have broken the tree, but seeing the blood coming from her face and the pain assaulting her nose, the tree yielded.
Then she heard "Unbreakable charm, makes an object unbreakable. Well almost unbreakable." But this time Elena was in too much pain to answer him. She could only hatefully glare at him.
She began raging and she felt something inside her well up. She fueled it with her anger, and after a couple of seconds she felt like a chain she didn't know about had unlocked in her body.
She was willing to harm Arthur so more than anything at the moment, leading her body on acting by itself.
Arthur, who was looking at Elena like he was looking at a kid throwing a temper, was shocked when he felt the elements go wild.
A scarlet red glow came off Elena, and enveloped her. Arthur saw some of the red light come in contact with him and suddenly felt as if his blood was boiling.
Arthur hurriedly put on a triple layered shield and waited to see what was happening. The red light had formed a bloody cocoon that lasted ten seconds.
It disappeared as if it was being swallowed from the inside. When it completely disappeared it let place for a new person. Elena, but she had changed.
She was taller now, her previous jet black hair had become crimson red just like her eyes, and instead of the 'holy' beauty she gave off before, she was now giving off the impression she was a rose, that can only be admired but not touched.
However Arthur could still see the hatred she had fr him, it hadn't changed… No that's wrong, it had even intensified.
After a silent stare contest, as Arthur expected her to rush at him like she always did, she simply waved her hand.
But Arthur didn't drop his guard as he could feel the magic getting disturbed.
Indeed, 6 bloody spears appeared behind Elena, each one giving off a horrifying vibe. Arthur smiled coldly seeing she didn't even draw her wand, and he waved his own.
He then said aloud "Orbis!" Elena knew the spell and evaded the area at an unprecedented speed. Arthur sneered and Elena felt something was wrong when she didn't feel any attraction from the ground.
She suddenly felt familiar chains envelop her. Then Arthur said in a cold voice "My bad, it wasn't the good chant."
Suddenly Elena's spears rushed at Arthur at a breakneck speed, each and everyone of them capable of killing an adult wizard.
But as they went through Arthur, no blood was drawn, and his image simply faded away. Seeing this Elena screamed in rage, which had an unexpected effect.
Arthur felt a mind attack was hidden in the voice. But as a master Oclumens he could protect himself easily from such attacks.
Elena was struggling to get out of the chains, and as she was despairing she suddenly heard one of the chains crack. Arthur heard it too, and was alarmed.
He instantly activated the burning effect of purification, but strangely nothing happened. Arthur frowned and thought "She isn't a dark creature anymore?"
But even if this wasn't effective, Arthur had other tricks. As the Light couldn't win, Arthur decided to use the Darkness.
Arthur pointed his wand at Elena and said aloud "Vincula Tenebris!" Chains as black as the night appeared and were thrown at Elena. She couldn't move because she was still struggling, and thus was struck by the spell. Strangely this time there was one thicker chain that was connecting Elena and Arthur amongst all the others.
Understanding she wouldn't be able to get out of the chains she decided that she needed to attack using magic. Her wand unavailable, she had to do wandless magic.
Countless blood spears formed in the sky, and chains appeared underground. Arthur was focused on the spears so he was shocked when his shields warded off something coming from the ground.
But Arthur was still calm, and he said "Elena, I think you need to calm down. I mean come on, would you in your right mind think you can take me on wandless?"
As he said that all the spears in the sky were launched and she cried with another mental attack "Try to stop this!"
But her mental was stopped by the light shield Arthur had put on. But as she saw the spears were about to strike Arthur she smiled triumphantly as she knew the power behind the spears.
Arthur moved his wand at an inhuman speed and flicked numerous times around, creating countless layers of shield.
But Elena was alarmed as she felt her magic depleting at a breakneck speed. She didn't understand what was happening and soon her magic had been completely depleted.
As for Arthur, the spears destroyed tens of shields, but there were too many shields in the end, and eventually the spears ran off power, getting absorbed by the remaining shields.
As they finished their fight Arthur smiled proudly but suddenly heard a sound of something approaching. Arthur said "ACCIO!"
Instantly the defeated and dejected Elena was attracted to Arthur, arriving next to him in less than half a second. Arthur put on many more shields, including light, dark and normal ones.
Arthur looked around vigilantly, wondering where the danger was coming from. It may have only been a sound, they were in forbidden forest, everything living in here was dangerous.
As for Elena, she looked at Arthur in confusion as he dropped every spell he had put on her and brought her inside his shields, leaving him defenseless against her despite their big fight earlier.
She felt a little warm thinking of this, despite the hatred she had felt a moment ago. Maybe he was just testing her?
