House of Ravenclaws

after that menacing song that irritates me to the bones. the prefect of Ravenclaw gathered the first years and guide them to the Ravenclaw door entrance which is very far.

The entrance to the common room was located on the west side of Hogwarts at the top of a spiral staircase located on the fifth floor and was a door without a doorknob or keyhole, but a bronze knocker in the shape of an eagle.

Our emblem is the eagle, which soars where others cannot climb; our house colours are blue and bronze, and our common room is found at the top of Ravenclaw Tower, behind a door with an enchanted knocker. The arched windows set into the walls of our circular common room look down at the school grounds: the lake, the Forbidden Forest, the Quidditch pitch and the Herbology gardens. No other house in the school has such stunning views.

Ravenclaw Tower served as the common room for students in Ravenclaw House at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Ravenclaw Tower was one of the three tallest towers of Hogwarts Castle, alongside Gryffindor Tower and the Astronomy Tower.

To enter the room, a person must answer a riddle asked by the eagle knocker; if they answered incorrectly, they must wait for someone else who got it right.

Prefect Robert Hilliard knock on the bronze eagle and it opens its beak. a voice sounded off.

"I am the beginning of the end and the end of time and space. I am essential to creation, and I surround every place. What am I?"

"the prefect ask us first years. Does anybody knows the answer?"

Marietta raises her hand. the prefect nodded in acknowledgement. "the letter E." she said.

The door started to open. and we were led inside the common room.

The Common Room's interior

The Ravenclaw common room was one of the airiest rooms at Hogwarts. It was a wide, circular room with arched windows hung with blue and bronze silks and a midnight blue carpet covered in stars, which was reflected onto the domed ceiling. The room was furnished with tables, chairs, and bookcases; and by the door leading up to the dormitories stood a tall statue of Rowena Ravenclaw made of white marble.

According to Prefect Robert Hilliard, the sound of wind whistling around the windows of the tower was relaxing while going to sleep.

During the day, Ravenclaw students had an excellent view of the school grounds, including the lake, Forbidden Forest, Quidditch pitch, Herbology gardens and the surrounding mountains.

The entrance to the Ravenclaw dormitories was also located in the Tower, beside a statue of Rowena Ravenclaw. In the dormitory, four-poster beds were covered in sky blue silk eiderdowns on platforms and the sound of the wind whistling around the windows was very relaxing. A wall was decorated with the Ravenclaw crest and the windows had blue curtains. There was also a desk and stacks of books.

The four-poster beds were covered in blue eiderdowns with navy blue curtains, a wooden nightstand next to it and their school trunk at the foot of the bed. The four-poster beds had two shelves at the back of the bed, an owl perch on one side, a small carpet next to the bed and a wooden nightstand at the end of the bed on one side.

As the prefect explained all the details he finally said. "The stairs on the right is for the boys, on the left are for the girls. now first years can choose any room on the first level as you progress your years here your room level gets a level higher. The best thing here is that you will have the room for yourself you can decorate it if you want just make sure at the end of the school year you remove all your personal belongings or it will be lost the following school year. You may now go up and find a room for yourself."

The first years went to the dormitories and choose their rooms. I choose the farthest room. opening my room it's not that big. It has a study desk, a bookshelf, a bed a small table and chair to accommodate companies if they visit and a small bathroom with a wash bin, toilet, and a shower. somewhat comfortable. well, I on the other hand don't need it. I will go to my mini-world or go to the manor if I like to sleep.

For now, I must take the opportunity to roam around while Dumbledor is not in the castle.

I close my eyes and check the room feeling the flow of magic around me to check if there are any spells or runes that is spying on me.

The room seems to be safe. "Gazlow." i called.

the elf appeared. "you called master?"

"are there runes or spells inside the castle to monitor what is going on or to monitor students?"

"There are rooms that have security on them. would you like for me to make a list?"

"That would be great. After a few hours, I will call you again and ask you to apparate me and bring the list."

"Yes, master."

"ok wait for my call later you can go now."

I decided to go back down to the common room to look at what is going on there out of curiosity and also to waste time till everyone will go to sleep.

there are many students in the common room talking in groups. I decided to chat with a group of older students that varies in gender to show them my project in making a card game and ask them for suggestions.
