Against his best friend
The usual green barrier had surrounded the ring.
"What's the reason for all these bullshit?" Max's eyes turned into slits to reveal how uninterested he was in the fight. He didn't want to fight a possessed version of his best friend. He wanted him back instead. "You took the girl. Where is she?" Nicole suddenly asked, and he pointed his golden staff in the direction of his opponent. There was a pause that lasted for a few seconds.
"Did you bring me here for trash talk?" Mark said. The people sitting around the ring began to get impatient since the contestants had not started fighting and were still battling with words. "What's the problem with you fools? Get over with this now," A man stood up from amongst the crowd to express his dissatisfaction. Nicole's gaze turned in the direction of the man who had just spoken.
