The trio of players had gathered in Pero's quarters. Pero was laying on the sofa, dressed only in pants as his feathers didn't exactly give the sense that he was shirtless. On the sofa opposite him sat Momonga, dressed in a much more casual robe compared to his usual one, and beside him sat Buku, wearing leather pants and a loose shirt, with her feet on the table, casually sipping beer from a bottle.
Pero was glaring at her with murderous intent.
"Hey, finders keepers." She teased her brother with a burst of high-pitched laughter.
"You found it in my personal bar. There is a limited quantity!" he hissed back.
Momonga just sat silently, amused by the antics of his friends.
"Your duty is to give the best stuff to your older sister."
"Bullshit. Oh I know, I should help myself from your private stash as well."
"Don't you fucking dare!"
"Or what?"
"Or Momo will get to hear a fantastic tale about your actions at the age of twelve."
Hearing his sister's threat, the avian scoffed and looked away from her with a mumble "Bitch…"
Buku just chuckled and continued sipping beer with a satisfied grin. "Oh, don't sulk. I will repay you for the beer. By the way Momo, what are we planning?"
"What do you mean?"
"As in, what are our long-term plans? We surely can't go back, not that I want that anymore. What are you planning, glorious leader?"
"We have a nation to look after. So, I think we need to learn more about the world and build up our forces."
"Sounds good. If I understand correctly, none of us have a lifespan, so we can look after this world and try to prevent the shithole that ours was turned into." Pero said.
"To a better world." Buku said, raising the bottle with her two friends joining in, "To a better world."
Momonga still had to find a way for him to enjoy food as well but the idea of how to achieve it was already there, all that remained was to properly investigate skills and start learning how to utilize them fully.

Yuri carefully filled the Guardian Overseer's cup with fresh tea and stepped aside. Albedo gracefully brought the porcelain cup to her mouth, taking a careful sip, and said "Thank you, Yuri."
Her greatest ally and biggest rival sat opposite her, looking over a large, very detailed map of Tempest.
"I think an additional fortress here should make the defense of the northern region much easier." Demiurge said, pointing with a gloved finger at a large hill close to Dwargon's border.
"Wonderful suggestion. I will put that in the development plan. Lord Momonga will be pleased with our efforts."
"What about the plans of the other two Lords?"
"Lord Peroroncino relays all his plans to me first, and Lady Bukubukuchagama has yet to make her plans known." Albedo said in a casual voice.
Demiurge raised his eyebrow, observing her. She seemed a lot more relaxed compared to before. Did she have additional information that put her worries about a possible conflict between the Supreme Ones to rest?
Understanding his unspoken question, Albedo said. "My worries might have been misplaced."
"Should we cancel the deterrent plan?" Demiurge asked.
"I think there is merit to keeping it for now. I don't believe we would ever need to act upon it, but it is better to be prepared, just in case."
"If you don't mind telling, what changed your risk assessment level?"
"I came to better understand Lady Bukubukuchagama. Her dissatisfaction with her current predicament came from her being cut off from a reality we had no idea existed. Her recent acquisition of a bipedal body has alleviated her distress."
"Interesting."
"Indeed."
There was a small spark of envy towards Lady Bukubukuchagama inside her. After all, she as a woman could not compete with a Supreme Being who now had gained a suitable form to bear children. The question if she would ever decide to become Lord Momonga's wife had no concrete answer. If such a possibility existed, her duty, as a loyal servant, was to not stand in their way. Her personal growing desires were of no consequence.
