Hailey and Hannah spent a few hours at the park. It was already lunch time. Hailey went to get some snacks and soda for both of them. They sat down on the lawn to eat.
"The hamburger's really nice Hailey." she said.
"Yeah it is." Hailey answered. She looked at the time on her phone. It was exactly 2pm.
"It's already 2pm Hannah. We better be going. Eat up! Let's go home!" She said to her.
"Okay Hailey." She answered and continued eating her snack. Hailey waited for the little girl to finish her snack. She finished up the snack and they were ready to leave.
They went to the parking lot. An ice cream vendor was outside the park. Hailey bought an ice cream for Hannah.
"Thank you Hailey." She thanked her.
"You're welcome Hannah." They got into the car and Hailey started the engine. They joined the highway and headed home.
While on the road, Hailey remembered she needed some personal stuffs for herself and needed to get them at the supermarket.
"Hannah!" She called out to the little girl who was just observing the different cars on the road. She called out to her again and this time she responded.
"Yes Hailey." she answered.
"Hannah, I'm afraid we won't be going home yet. I have to stop at the supermarket to get some stuffs I need. Are you okay with that?" she asked.
"Okay!" she answered and Hailey smiled.
She drifted from the road that led home to another and drove off. She diverted and changed direction heading to the supermarket. Five minutes later, they got to the supermarket and she parked the car. They got down from the car with Hailey holding Hannah's fragile hand. They walked into the supermarket.
"Stay with me, so you don't get lost!" Hailey instructed and the little girl nodded. The supermarket was very busy with lots of people buying different stuffs.
Hailey picked up a trolley and their shopping began. They walked through different parts of the supermarket. Hailey got the things she needed. There was one more thing left for her to get.
"Hannah, let's get some beverages, it's over there." She pointed at a direction.
"That's okay. Let's go!" The girl answered with a smile. She was enjoying the shopping and didn't want it to end. They got to the beverages section. Hailey took a refilled bag of milk and chocolate.
"Okay. I think we're done here!" she said. The duo left the beverages section. They were done with shopping and were headed to the cashier to make payment. They passed the toys section and Hannah fell in love with the toys. Hailey continued moving the trolley unaware that her cousin was not with her. She looked back and discovered Hannah wasn't following her.
"Hannah, Hannah, where are you?" She walked back and found Hannah standing and staring at the toys.
"Hannah, I've been looking for you!" She said to her.
"Toys! I want toys!!" She pointed ignoring what Hailey said earlier.
"Okay, fine! But promise me you'll follow me after you get them!"
"Yes I promise!!"
"Okay!"
"Yay!!!" Hannah took some toys and they left the toys section and met the cashier. Hailey made payment with her credit card. The stuffs were arranged in a big bag and they left.
"Thank you for the toys Hailey."
"You're welcome."
