Chapter 76 a room in the back

Tai wakes up with Ari still in her arms, a smile comes across her lips when she looks down at Ari and brushes her fingers across her cheek.

" mmmm Tai " Ari mumbles out as she stretches in Tais arms and then stands up looking around where the light touches.

" Tai how long has it been " Ari asked while staring at the door that's blocked by a earth wall, Tai gets up walking over beside her.

" it's been only four hours, for the last two I haven't heard any noise coming from the outside.

I can still feel them out there, I know their still there and I'm praying that the others stay away from here. It's not just a viral, its something else here and I don't know or even want to know what it is." Tai said holding onto Aris hand, a small smile plays on her lips and she quickly hugs her tightly around her waist. Tai cups her face tilting her head back to look at her and then gently gives her a kiss on the lips.

Something starts ramming the door to where the earth wall has small cracks appearing on it, the cracking noise gets louder in the back of the building.

" there has to be another way out of here " Ari said while summoning a few more light orbs to help them see more around them. The lights seem more dull then earlier when they first summoned them it's like the darkness in here is slowly eating at the energy.

A few large crates are laying against the other wall, they both walk over and take the top off to find circular oil la.ps in the crate.

" here is the oil in that square box " Ari said taking some out then filling them, Tai watches Ari wagging her tails as she fills all the oil lamps we put them around us and pull out a blanket from our storage ring to lay on. Ari straddles Tais lap, Tai smiles widely and raises a eyebrow at her.

" getting brave huh " Tai said in a mocking tone, Ari lays her hands on top of Tais stomach and bends down kissing Tais lips. Tai pulls her into a deeper kiss by grabbing the back of her neck, a door slamming from the back of the building makes both of them raise up quickly.

" stay here and keep your lights on around you , stay in the corner " Tai said putting the lanterns in a circle around the corner, she starts walking toward the back of the room she notices not only different types of animal bones, but also humanoid bones of different races.

When Tai gets to the back of the building, the door is closed so she kicks it open and a smell of decay hits her nose as she gags.

A bunch of bodies belonging to humans, fairies and other creatures are all laying around with no wounds on their bodies. The only thing that is the grey skin and the smell coming from them.

" Tai please come back I don't like this please" Ari said while staying close to the circle, Tai backs up from the room and walks back toward the front of the room.

" hey you ok " Tai said as Ari hugs her, she lays her head against Tais shoulder.

" I don't want you to leave me " Ari said while looking up into Tais eyes, she kisses her lips softly.

" I have to get us out of here, I'll die before I let anything happen to you " Tai said walking Ari back to the corner making her stay in the corner with a barrier to keep her put and safe.

" Tai what are you doing, get the fuck back here and release me now " Ari screams hitting the barrier with her fist.

" I cant because you won't listen, I'll be back I promise" Tai said walking away, she makes her way back to the room in the back and his time she steps into the room. She looks at the runes that's covering the floor and the ceiling, she notices runes appearing on the bodies that re laying on the floor.

" A few are alive " Tai said as she summons light orbs over the six bodies and vines wrap around their feet dragging them out of the room to the corner where Ari is who looks at the bodies again their color comes back to their faces.

" fairies and succubus " Ari said watching their breath returning to their bodies at a normal rate and then a loud roar that seemed to be mixed with four voices.

Tai covered her ears with her hands as the runes started to light up and the bodies started to move with rough robotic movements. The one closest to Tai raises its knees then it's back from the ground, the head was the last to raise up with the body as it tilted back with an inhuman look in its eyes.

" what the hell are you and why hurt the innocent " Tai said unsheathing her sword watching the other bodies raising up from the ground, she is surrounded by twenty of these different people of different races that now look like ghouls.

" wait shes not one yet " Tai whispered to her self as she stares at a succubus with white hair and red wings, she uses vines to wrap around the girls body then puts one of her light orbs over it and dragging it to where the others are by Ari. A spear stabs straight toward her face she moves her head to the side, then swings her katana from the ground up and slicing through the fairy that tried to impale her. She starts parrying different attacks coming from around her, stabbing and slicing the ones closest to her.

" fuck you all wont wait " Tai said blocking some hits coming from a orc using a large rusted axe, then uses spells of earth sending spikes throughout the room impaling over ten of them.
