Return to the Guild

The guild looked as prestigious as always. With night coming closer.

The giant letters, G.M.B. remained, reminding the world of the prestigious guild and it's long and magnificent history.

Charlie holds onto Hent~ai, his expression filled with uncertainty as she comforts him, giving him confidence as he looked onwards.

Anne, though, gives a cheeky grin, "Don't worry, ChaCha. The guild is super fun."

"If Anne is anything to go by, you'll fit right in."

Anne glares at her and the two girls once more ready themselves for an argument.

Zauriel stands between them, stopping any altercation. "I may not be the best man to say this, seeing as I just joined. But from what I saw, there's no way those guys won't take you in."

Charlie nods in understanding before looking up once more, a bit more confident.

"Ok, let's do this."

Anne then barges in with a shout, "I'm back!"

"Who touched my counter!" Tsu shouts, following right after.

Charlie though strides in, attracting the eyes of all that saw her. Though that could be perhaps due to the tentacle slithering in his arms.

Zauriel sighs as he follows behind them, seeing Anne tackled by the small boy named Andu.

He only looks around for a minute to see the guild change. The once roadside bar turning into a stage, one waiting for another singer.

"What happened to the guild?"

"HA! I can answer that."

The familiar voice makes Zauriel turn, seeing Adam buff as ever. He then carries Zauriel like a child, leaving him hanging through his trench coat.

"Well, the thirtieth day of the month has arrived and you know what that means."

The guild shouts, "DAY OF RELAXATION!"

Adam nods sagely, "Yes, this is a guild sponsored event, a tradition done for years. One day a month where the guild lets loose and wreck some shit."

"Uh, sir. Wasn't yesterday a Day of relaxation?" ask Zauriel, vividly remembering the raucous cheering and the inordinate amount of booze.

"Haha, nonsense my boy. That was just your welcoming party."

"Ah, I see."

Zauriel looks down, a bit terrified by the fact that what they did was not something they consider to be letting loose. He already shuddered to think what it is that they consider a good time.

Before he could even think of it, he remembers something.

"Oh, Cornelius also said hi."

"Cornelius, you say? Haha! now how did you end up in a big enough of a problem to require Cornelius' attention."

He laughs loudly, wiping the tears in his eyes, "You even did it on your first day? I'm so proud."

"Thanks, I guess?"

Adam gives Zauriel a bone-crushing hug, once more burying his face in chest hair and muscles.

Fortunately for him, Charlie introduces himself, bowing up to his waist, "Sir, hello there. It is an honor to meet you. My name is Charlie."

Adam looks down at the voice before widening his eyes and giving an excited grin.

He crouches to Charlie's level, letting Zauriel go who immediately ran away from hugging distance. "Why hello there, young man. It is quite a delight to meet you."

"Uh thank you sir, though, I do-"

"Wish to join us? Haha! Then perhaps you wish to tell me what makes you want to do so?"

Charlie looks down in thought before looking back up. "It looked fun?"

Zauriel listens through it and a bell rings through his mind.

A voice whispers, "Because this looks like a place where I can actually find real friends."

Zauriel widens his eyes in shock, looking to Tsu and Anne's knowing grins.

"No fucking way."

"You're IN!" shouts Adam, raising Charlie to his shoulder as he shouts to the surrounding members.

"Let's welcome our newest guild member! CHARLIE!"

"CHARLIE! CHARLIE! CHARLIE!"

Adam then lowers him down, "Welcome to the Guild, young man."

Charlie nods shyly at the man as he walks to the stage, his loud footsteps catching their attention as the guild silences from his presence, he grabs a beer from one of the tables.

"So, ladies and gentlemen! Two new guild members have arrived in such a short time!" He then raises up his glass before taking a swig, "So, let's get this party started!"

The once silent crowd the shouts with enough power for the ground to tremble.

Zauriel looks around to see everyone bearing a joyous expression. Even Anne and Tsu who held such animosity, raised cups in agreement.

Zauriel chuckles as he walked to Charlie, nudging him as he spoke to her grinning expression.

"Told you they'll like you."

"Yeah."

The tentacle in his arms nuzzles into his neck, a happy wiggle that leaves Charlie grinning wider.

"So you wanna sing?" asks Zauriel

"Sure!" Charlie chirped back, his wide grin never fading.

"How the fuck did it get to this." asks Zauriel as he looked at the crowd before him. A bandana in his hand.

"Just shut up and take a glow stick!" says Tsu as she shoves a glow stick into his hands.

"Yeah, Zuzu, don't be a bitch!" chirped Anne as she bore a smile filled with teasing.

Zauriel only sighs through the darkness, looking at the stage as he whispers to Andu.

"Andu! Can you give seven more?"

"Both of you! Shut up! It's starting!"

The four guildmates then looked to the stage. The light dies down before the crowd mumbles to themselves in confusion.

A sudden spotlight cuts through the darkness, whereupon charlie takes a step forward.

Revealing the cutest outfit the guild has ever seen, one mildly reminscent of a magical girl.

He then smiles, peace sign up on his eyes, "Are you ready!"

A guitar riff follows, and drums ring behind him. Hent~ai ready and waiting, tentacles striking her drums, creating a perfect beat.

Silence reigned before a deep rumbling rung and a deafening shout reverberates through the guild hall with a chant following behind it.

"Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!"

"Then my first song is to be dedicated to all of you!"

With those words, the music burst and the cheering only became louder.

Zauriel only sighed before raising his hands, bearing eight glow sticks as he shouted, the booze never leaving his arm's length.

I would have written an actual song if I was any good at writing anything, much less a song.
