Chapter 47: A Trip in my favorite [Valor]

"What do you mean you can't take us there by portal!?"

"That area is restricted, it's a God's place of power. How could we even dare to venture there?" The man deadpanned, as Valor stomped away. How the hell was he to get a ride there when no one would even go within 100 miles of the island?!

"This one's a bust too. They say it's restricted since it's a God's place if power which is stupid since so is the ocean or sky!" Valor complained to the rest of the party while they all looked equally exhausted.

"Why did we want to go there again?"

"Well I heard about a dungeon there that hasn't even been touched, so I thought it would be a good idea to head over. I was also hoping to get along well with Circe, so I could learn some new things." Jay had his head on the table facing the right with his eyes closed. He looked partially dead. He let out a groan before picking his head up.

"So what's the plan now?"

"Hehe…you see I already predicted this! I'm five dimensions ahead of you! I managed to scrounge up a discount on a vessel. We'll set sail at dawn." Leon smirked, as Valor jumped up from the table high-fived him.

"Looks like we're setting a course to Circe's Island! Argh matey! You know what this calls for? A costume change!" Valor grabbed Leon, Eunice, and Jay quick enough that none of them could react, as he ran away with them.

"Fuck! Let us down!" Eunice tried to squirm away from his grasp, but was too squished to do it.

"I'm okay with this, let's get pirate clothes!" Leon didn't mind whatsoever while Jay merely accepted his fate. He didn't seem to mind as much as before, as Valor saw what he thought was the smallest of smiles.

"Alright I'll let you go, but only if you don't run away immediately. You have to stay with me here." He smirked evilly. They all shivered before nodding. Finally let go, Eunice seemed to have thought of running but decided against it. They reached a clothing shop and looked around. Valor went into the dressing room and immediately exited wearing the most gaudy and disgusting combination of pirate clothing.

"No. If you're going to dress up like a pirate I'll be picking the clothes." Eunice said before grabbing some pirate clothing and throwing both Valor and the clothes into the dressing room. He walked out and immediately felt like a badass pirate. A black pirate hat with a dark red and black overcoat. A buttoned up red shirt and black pants that stopped at the middle of his shin.

"I like this pirate hat, but how about a straw hat?" Before any of them could answer, two individuals came out front the back.

"Hello, what brings you here to my shop?" They seemed to be a father daughter duo.

"We would like pirate clothing." Leon said with a smile and immediately got a couple chuckles from the daughter before they dressed Leon up. They proceeded with Jay and then Eunice. Eunice had a black bandana wrapped around her head. Some black shorts that went down to her upper shin followed by some buckle pirate boots. They were fairly flat with just a bit of height for an intimidating touch. She wore a blouse that didn't restrict her movement and a corset. Leon had a red bandana on his arm with a loose white shirt with a belt and a pair of black pants. Jay had a dark blue coat with a belt to keep his pants from falling. His shirt was a loose black shirt with his usual boots.

"Wow…we look awesome!" Valor exclaimed while smiling brightly.

"I hate to admit it, but he's right."

"Yeah you did a really good job with Valor's clothing." Leon teased, while Eunice flicked his forehead. Once they managed to get Kai, Davis, and Daisy into the shop, they each got their own costume. Daisy opted for the same one as Eunice just with a slight change in the color of pants since she liked a dark blue better. Davis got a red bandana tied around his head. He also got a black string shirt with some baggy black pants that were stuffed into pirate boots. Kai had a leather skin string shirt with white pants that were stuffed in pirate boots complemented by his black bandana.

"Thanks for the things!" They paid and made their way to the river that connected with the ocean. The dock was a popular fishing spot, but they weren't there to catch fish.

"So where's the boat?" Daisy questioned Leon, "Right there." He pointed to a decent ship before he got on board.

"...how did you afford this? Leon you..didn't..did you? Please tell me you didn't blow the rest of our money on this fucking boat!" Leon whistled before sprinting as far away as possible. Davis chased him, as the rest sighed before unpacking their things.

"Can you keep helping me out?" Valor asked Jay.

"Yes, sure." They left the others to man the ship since neither knew how to do so and went to the most quiet place in the ship.
