Alex immediately froze, his brain seemed to stop functioning now. What should he say to Jessica? It's very difficult to explain to someone who is super innocent like Jessica.
However, Alex felt that he could not bear to see Jessica who looked tormented like that.
The medicine that Sean gave was extraordinary.
"Letting go is something you get after you sleep with men!" explained Alex quickly.
"What?" cried Jessica in surprise.
Well, even surprised, right?
"Oh my God. Find another way, Al! I don't want to do something like that. You know, you can't do that before you get married, you're crazy!"
"You ask, I answer! Nobody told you to do that!" interrupted Alex.
Jessica moved restlessly.
"Look, I'll try first, find a young coconut, pray for it! When I leave, lock the door!" Alex ordered.
Jessica nodded and immediately locked the door after Alex left.
Alex descends the stairs in a hurry, when passing through the living room, Vera intercepts him.
"What happened with Jessica?" Vera asked worriedly.
Alex took a deep breath, he had to think carefully, so that the reasons he gave did not arouse suspicion, or things would get more complicated.
"She's fine, she's just on her period. It's normal, you also know when you get it, women are weird, right?" Alex lie.
"So where are you going now?" Vera asked suspiciously. The reason is that her brother seemed to be in a hurry when she came down the stairs.
"I'm looking for young coconuts. Do you know where is sell young coconuts at this hour?"
"Wait, why are you looking for young coconuts at this time of night?" said Rey, who turned out to be listening to their conversation.
Alex immediately snorted in annoyance. Why did the man have to ask? Now, what should he say?
"For Jessica, please! Young coconuts are good for facilitating menstruation, so it reduces the pain too." continued Lusi.
Alex immediately breathed a sigh of relief. Thank goodness if there is such a reason.
"Just look for it at the fruit market near the mall that just opened! I've seen that place still open at this hour," Vera exclaimed while gently patting Alex's arm.
"Okay!"
Alex immediately rushed to the car and headed to the place that Vera meant.
He looked to all the traders there, but none of them had young coconuts.
Maybe because it was night, the young coconut stock had run out.
The man continued to look elsewhere.
And...
None too.
For almost an hour Alex went around looking for coconuts, but no one was selling them.
Unlucky.
Because it was a dead-end, the man finally decided to return to the boarding house.
"You didn't get it, did you?" said Vera as soon as Alex passed the living room.
"Nothing. Damn it!"
"If you want, I have painkillers!" bargained Lusi.
"Let me tell Jessica!"
Alex immediately rushed to the girl's room. The door was locked when Alex arrived, so he knocked a few times.
"How? Got it?" said Jessica.
It looks very sad.
"Sorry, Jess, No one is selling it. Even though I've been looking here and there."
Jessica immediately sobbed softly. He was too confused about what to do.
"Then what should I do?" Jessica looks so tormented.
Alex racked his brain to find a way. However, he still couldn't find a way to solve the girl's problem.
"There's away, but I'm not sure if it works or not!" Alex said suddenly.
"What?" cried the girl in frustration.
They were silent for quite a while.
Not completely silent because Jessica just kept moving restlessly.
"If you don't, you just go solo!" Alex said slowly.
"What's that?"
Damn it!
Alex immediately cursed in his heart. There's no way Alex should explain something like that to him! Alex feels he can go crazy if he continues like this.
"Search for information on the internet!" growled Alex.
Jessica borrows Alex's cellphone, then rushes to surf the Internet.
"Where's your cellphone?"
"I turn it off. Sean keeps calling. I'm annoyed with him."
"Oh..."
"Gosh. You're telling me to do this? I don't want to! Disgusted!!" Jessica screamed hysterically.
"So, what do you want? The purpose of the drug is to make you horny, then get released!"
Jessica immediately sobbed softly.
"Well then, just hold on until the effect wears off!"
Jessica slammed Alex's cellphone on the bed, and she moved restlessly again. She kept rubbing her arms and neck.
Seeing this, Alex immediately braced himself, however, Alex was a normal man.
"Please Al, find another way!" whined daughter.
Alex racked his brain again.
"I don't know if this will work or not," Alex muttered doubtfully.
Jessica immediately approached Alex and looked at him expectantly.
"Change your clothes into sports clothes! Don't forget to wear shoes too! I'll be waiting downstairs!"
"It's getting hot, isn't it?!" Jessica protested.
"Come on, just obey! I'm waiting!"
Alex immediately went downstairs, while Jessica changed her clothes.
Not long after, Jessica came down.
"That's it!" cried Jessica, frowning.
She was still rubbing her neck and wagging the collar of her shirt stiflingly.
"Come on!"
"Wait! What is this? Where are you two going to wear that clothes?" William stopped them when they were about to leave the share house.
"Jogging! Why? Do you want to come along?" snapped Jessica.
"This hour?" he screamed in disbelief.
"Enjoy it at this hour, right? It's not hot!" said the girl.
William turned to stare at Jessica fixedly.
"Are you sure you want to go jogging? You sweat a lot, it seems you're not feeling well!" asked William.
Jessica glanced at Alex, pursed her lips.
"Sorry, but you'd better get out of the way now. Jessica suddenly got angry. You know when you get it, what kind of sensitive Jessica is this!?" Alex whispered.
William shuddered in horror, he rushed to leave them.
"Al, uncomfortable!" whined Jessica.
"Yeah, come on!" Alex grabbed Jessica's hand and took the girl running out of the share house.
They began to run down the complex and moved towards the park which was not far from the share house.
Arriving there, they continued to run around the park.
"Al, the more the wind blows the goosebumps!" Jessica half-shouted.
"Well, just keep running, don't stop. Then the effect will go away on its own!" Alex exclaimed while continuing to hold Jessica's steps.
"Are you serious? How come it feels weird, Al?"
"Don't digress! Just keep running!" Alex exclaimed sharply.
They kept running.
Long enough, until Jessica's legs could no longer be used to run.
"Why stop?"
"Tired, can't run anymore!" cried Jessica, trying to catch her breath and straightening her legs in the grass.
"Well, take a break. Then, do you feel the effect is decreasing?!"
"All I feel is just tired now! Sleepy too!"
Alex breathed a sigh of relief. Well, at least Jessica is not suffering anymore. After this, the girl would just be exhausted, and fall asleep fast.
"Yeah, let's go home!" asked Alex, because to be honest, he was quite tired himself.
Jessica nodded slowly.
"I can't walk anymore. I'm about to break my leg!"
Alex chuckled softly.
"I'm carrying it!"
***
cluck!
Rey opened the door.
The man stared blankly at Jessica who was fast asleep on Alex's back.
"Get out of the way, it's heavy!" Alex snorted while confirming Jessica's position in his arms.
Rey also gave him away. He then followed them to Jessica's room.
Alex laid Jessica's body on the bed, then looked at Rey with a strange look.
"What happened?" asked Rey who couldn't stop staring at the girl.
"Nothing, just tired. Then fell asleep when I carried her home," said Alex slowly.
"I'm always looking for things, rarely do sports, pretend to want to go jogging!" Rey commented.
Alex shook his head slowly. It's up to what Rey wants to say. He was quite tired and hungry.
"I'm back! Just let Jessica rest!" said Alex, then walked away while gently massaging his back.
Rey sat on the edge of Jessica's bed, then took off the shoes that were still attached to the girl's feet.
She looked very restless in her sleep. Maybe she had a bad dream or something?
"Hot," said Jessica suddenly.
Hot?
Jessica's forehead was sweating quite a lot, so Rey wiped it lightly, with his fingers.
Suddenly Jessica opened her eyes. The girl woke up.
"What are you doing here?" the girl whispered.
"Accompany you. You don't look well. You keep on sweating, you're also delirious, so I'll accompany you."
Jessica took a deep breath, and it was very long.
"I'm sleepy," muttered Jessica quietly.
"Yeah, go to sleep!"
"But the effect has not disappeared, starting to feel again now!" chirped Jessica.
"What effect?" Rey asked quickly.
Jessica shook her head in annoyance, she looked at Rey with a sad look.
"You're right. Sean is a jerk! I hate him, he's evil!" Jessica pouted with teary eyes.
Rey gently stroked the top of the girl's head.
Rey concluded something from what happened. Jessica behaved strangely when she came back after leaving with Sean, only after Alex came.
That means Sean has done something bad to the girl. Whatever happens, he must meet Sean, and calculate with him for daring to do something bad to Jessica.
In vain he kept Jessica away from that man for three years in high school!
"When I see him later, I'll hit his head!" muttered Jessica with half-closed eyes.
She seemed tired.
"Sleep, Jess. Go to sleep!" Rey shouted, rubbing the top of the girl's head affectionately.
"You are also evil, you have the heart to hurt me, even though I love you so much! Why can't you love me? Whatever you want, I will give it, why do you prefer other women? Why are you so stubborn with me? "
Jessica said it so softly, and with her eyes tightly closed. A tear fell from the girl's eye.
Rey was devastated to see how to hurt the girl who had always accompanied him had been.
"I'm sorry, Jess, If I could turn back time, I wouldn't hurt you like this. I'm sorry..."
