Morgan is Lost 1

SAMANTHA'S P.O.V.

The thought alone made me shudder. I had been so scared, so out of my mind, the blood pulsating through my veins.

I had started to drive crazily, and I don't know how, but I started to see the civilization I recognized. Civilization that looked very much like home.

And then the truck had showed up out of nowhere. Nathan didnt budge, and I knew why. It would take more than a truck ramming into us and driving over us to kill a vampire like him.

A knock came on the door, pulling me out of the nightmere I didn't want to be in in the first place.

"Morgan?" I said opening the door. It wasn't him.

NICK'S P.O.V.

I felt bad. Extremely bad. I knew how Morgan looked when he was scared. When he felt like he was losing control. He had that scared out of his wits looking in his eyes. He, no doubt felt he was slowly becoming the person he hated the most. He waa slowly becoming his own greatest fear.

I walked away after dispersing the crowd there, and went looking for him. I knew he would have gone to Samantha. She is the only one who would calm him down right now. It could have been me, but I have let him down in that moment of anger. I shook my head and knocked on Samantha's door. I just hoped he would let me in.

"Morgan?"

I heard her say as she opened the door. She looked okay, but my problem was the fact that she seemed to be expecting Morgan too. Did he not come to her?

"Is he not here?" I asked, watching ber.

She seemed scared, and I related it to the Nathan incident. He could have barged In on her like that while she was expecting the King.

"No, he isn't." She answered slowly.

I was taking my first real look at her, and she wasn't what I expected. She looked very innocent, her eyes big and beautiful. I swallowed and moved away, stopping myself.

The King's woman's beauty, no matter how obvious was only to be appreciated by the King himself. Not me, his loyal friend, servant and side.

"Alright, thank you," I said and gave a slight bow, then helped her close the door.

"There is a major problem," I said to myself, my hands going to my waist.

He would have been very distraught and I, so thoughtless for disregarding his feelings in that one moment. I started to run to his room, even though I knew what to expect. He wasn't there either.

"Did something happen to Morgan?"

I turned, and Samantha was standing there, her brows furrowed together. I immediately dropped my gaze to her feet.

"Miss, I am sorry, but, uhm...King Morgan wouldn't want you out and about like this. We have everything under control."

She looked like she didn't believe me. "What's your name?" She asked.

"Nick."

"Oh, you're his friend." She said, then backed away.

"I trust you, then."
