The system recommended Chojusen take the Five Elements Law Fragment first; so he did. Chojusen held a small crystal, that caused elemental phenomenon to manifest, in his hands. The crystal looked like an emerald and from its sides, fire, water, wind, earth, and lightning shot off recklessly.
Chojusen took the emerald of elements and shoved it into his forehead, like the system told him to. All humanoids — like Chojusen who was now primarily a Chaosfiend — usually had brains in their heads, and the purpose of the brain was to house the soul. With the crystal of elements entering straight through his brain and into his soul, Chojusen immediately blacked out.
While he fainted and laid on the floor, his soul was experiencing a wondrous dream. Chojusen appeared in the center of a burning star. He was currently only experiencing a dream, but if he really wanted to, he could do the same in real life with his Void Cloak. Chojusen didn't know what he was supposed to do to gain his own Dao, so he just supposed that he was meant to study the fire of the star. This was a five elements Law Fragment and the only element around was fire; it didn't take a genius to put two and two together.
Chojusen had already done this in his home universe; Kaguya had already taught him how to mediate from the environment to master Law Principles. But in the dream and in the Higher Universe, Law Principles weren't the limit; now Chojusen had to create his own law from what he saw.
At the True God Level, Chojusen could — if he wanted to — see the particles of energy move with his naked eyes; he no longer needed to rely on "feeling" the particles. Thus, what Chojusen did was try to memories the patterns of the particles in their natural state. He quickly found out the the "patterns" were to chaotic and random to simply memorize.
However, he could simplify the patterns into smaller and smaller pieces… As he was about to understand something, *BOOM*, the star exploded into a supernova, just like the one he caused when he showed off to Indra, and all progress he built up to that point, became meaningless as the patterns changed into something completely different.
The next thing Chojusen knew he was now in a world of water; something like the planet Ino fought Poseidon on. Where Chojusen stood, the water was dense and still, but as he studied the surface, there were waves of a beating rhythm. There were many complicated water particle patterns for both the still water in the core of the liquid planet and the moving waves at the surface. Chojusen didn't managed to gain anything substantial as his time ran out and he was teleported to a world of earth; at least he knew what to study when he left the dream.
The world of earth was nothing more than the underground layer of any common planet. Even though earth looked like it was the same everywhere and that studying earth was as simple as looking at the ground ,Chojusen knew better than that. The earth was a living and breathing law just like the rest of the elemental laws and recklessly believing it was simple would be a fatal mistake.
Chojusen looked at the shivering earth particles in the underground world he had been summoned to and found their odd, barely moving patterns to be tricky to solve. He commented that they were similar to the heavy water particles at the core of the liquid planet he had been to previously.
Before Chojusen could finish, he was cast away to a world of wind. As Chojusen expanded his senses he realized that he was inside the largest natural hurricane he had ever seen. The wind was also hard to study. Sometimes it was gentle and barely noticeable, like in the center of the hurricane, and other times, the wrath of the wind would tear off and shred entire chunks of the planet underneath it as if it were a toy.
Chojusen had a bit a success when he studied the quick and exaggerated movements of the wrathful wind particles, but he couldn't see through much of the calm wind.
The next and final world Chojusen found himself in, was a world of raging thunder. There were supercell thunderstorm clouds for as far as his eyes could see and the dangerous yellow streaks destroyed everything within range. Chojusen looked around but he didn't see any planets or celestial bodies nearby until he noticed that the mass of thunder itself was a nebula.
It was a good thing that Chojusen could see things moving faster than the speed of light; he might not be able to see the thunder particles in action if that weren't the case. As Chojusen spent more and more time studying these lightning particles he became increasingly ill at ease as he started to pick up on an improbable pattern. It almost seemed like the five basic elements… had the same general pattern governing them?
As Chojusen had this epiphany, he was tossed out of the dream world and opened his eyes in the real world. A terrifying white aura came off his body as he tried to transmute a ball of regular fire he created in his hands. The fire became clear when he transmuted it to wind, it turned blue when Chojusen changed the patterns to fit water laws, brown for earth laws, and a sickly purple for thunder.
Chojusen then had the dastardly idea to try and have the flame adapt to the patterns of all the five elements and a chilling ghost white light shined from the flame. Chojusen stopped fueling the fire as he knew that his understanding of the elements were not good enough to control it and if that fire went out of his control it could probably destroy a good chunk of the Underworld.
As the ghost white flame faded away, Chojusen received an odd Prompt from the system.
[Host has transcended the Laws of Fire, Wind, Earth, Water, and Lightning and has managed to create his own Five Elements Daos. All Elemental Skills are now erased and replaced with Dao Mastery to govern their potency.
New Skills:
Dao of Fire (Rank Dao | 0/???): The user has created a their own personal Dao of Fire out of the patterns in fire particles. Currently, the only principles and laws learned to fuel the user's Dao are Fusion, Essence, Order, and Transmutation.
Dao of Water (Rank Dao | 0/???): The user has created a their own personal Dao of Water out of the patterns in water particles. Currently, the only principles and laws learned to fuel the user's Dao are Fusion, Essence, Order, and Transmutation.
Dao of Wind (Rank Dao | 0/???): The user has created a their own personal Dao of Wind out of the patterns in wind particles. Currently, the only principles and laws learned to fuel the user's Dao are Fusion, Essence, Order, and Transmutation.
Dao of Earth (Rank Dao | 0/???): The user has created a their own personal Dao of Earth out of the patterns in earth particles. Currently, the only principles and laws learned to fuel the user's Dao are Fusion, Essence, Order, and Transmutation.
Dao of Lightning (Rank Dao | 0/???): The user has created a their own personal Dao of Lightning out of the patterns in lightning particles. Currently, the only principles and laws learned to fuel the user's Dao are Fusion, Essence, Order, and Transmutation.
Principle Meaning:
Essence: The essence of a Dao is the Essence of the Dao's energy. Basically, mastering this principle is the same as mastering the universe's own law for that respective Dao.
Order: Understanding the movements of the energy's particles — the patterns — gives one the qualifications to add Order to their Dao's list of mastered principles. Above Order is Absolute Order, which is to say complete mastery over a Dao's particle patterns.
Transmutation: A higher level insight, understanding that everything comes from an origin. All Daos have a source and knowledge of that source allows for the transmutation of one Dao energy into another.
Fusion: The application of Transmutation at a high level. By Transmuting one Dao energy to have the same principles of two or more Daos, the user can effectively bypass the rules of reality to Transcend Law Restrictions.]
"Why is your explanation so hard to understand? Are you trying to confuse me?"
[What? I was extremely clear! What don't you understand?]
"Well, principle meanings are confusing so..."
[How are they confusing? Essence just means you mastered the law in its base form. Order just means you understand the patterns of the particles. Transmutation just means you can change one of your Dao's energy into another Dao's energy. And Fusion, just means you can combine your Daos together.]
"Why didn't you just say that?"
[I gave you their textbook definitions!]
"Ok, ok… It was my mistake..."
