As time marched on, the battlefield between the two Dao Comprehension realm combatants stretched across the entire expanse of the Black Heavenly Plain.
What had once been a vast plain, densely blanketed with black vegetation, had been utterly transformed into a desolate marshland. The land, once solid beneath the weight of its ancient flora, was now reduced to a quagmire of mud and decay. Mountains were leveled to rubble, and rivers that once flowed with life were obliterated, leaving nothing but barren stretches in their wake.
Any creature that hadn't managed to flee in time had long since perished, with not a single intact corpse remaining. The sheer destructive force of the battle had reduced them to unrecognizable remnants.
