Avina rolled her aching wrists and glanced at the locked door. She walked close to it and gave it a good shake for measurement. Estimating the amount of force she needed, Avina lifted her foot and kicked the door. With a resounding bang, the door was flung off its hinges.
'That was easier than I thought,' Avina grinned. 'Now, tell me where Ruby is.'
'She's down the hallway to the left,' Ming answered. Feeling his job was done, he leaned back in the air.
When Avina arrived at the room, she could hear screams of fear. If she didn't know any better, she would have thought a pig was being slaughtered within. But knowing the savagery within, she couldn't help but feel a trace of pity growing for the man. She couldn't turn a blind eye as Ruby released her fury.
