"But I think I'll be fine," Ledona said. She swung her legs below her chair. Her face blossomed into a smile, "After all, if sister can do it."
Avina felt her smile starting to crack. Ledona truly was gifted.
Gifted in saying the rudest things ever with the loveliest smile possible!
"Haha," Avina forced laughter answered Ledona. She didn't ask this question to hear Ledona brag about herself.
"I just wonder if Alistair had something to do with it," Avina said.
Avina was curious why Alistair was willing to listen to Ledona. She figured that Alistair held the same feelings for Ledona as he did others - indifference
This little incident is changing what she believed. And she wanted to know what kind of magic Ledona cast on Alistair.
Ledona's smiling face froze. Her eyes stared at Avina, as if trying to figure out her true intentions. Yet, her mouth spouted lies and she pretended to not know anything.
