The meal ended in peace much to Avina's surprise. Everyone enjoyed themselves and no one was none the wiser about the total of the bill. Of course, her heart ached knowing that she could have avoided the bill as long as she waited long enough. But regret was regret and at the very least, she had avoided potential conflict.
There was a lot of work to be done after pampering herself. She yielded herself to thousands of calories but now, she had to yield herself to the pains of work. There were a lot of things to be done as a student of an academy. Vatoly managed to acquire her a week's break in order to prepare her for the competition. But now, since there was nothing, she had to revert back to being a busy student.
