Vita's eyes flickered left and right before understanding something. He looked up with those doe eyes of his and blinked.
"But you're a ghost."
Avina lifted an eyebrow. "Spirit. But so what?"
"You'll scare them!" Vita screamed with concern. Although he was slowly curbing his fear of the supernatural, that didn't mean others weren't scared.
Avina's lips dipped into a frown. "I hope they aren't scared because I'm their child. They'll only have one reason to be scared of me and that's if they think I'm out for revenge."
Vita paused for a second in silence. He looked up again and asked, "Are you?"
Avina shook her head. Although she had no memories of Eve's parents, because she did not react to the thought of meeting them, it could be seen Eve doesn't abhor them. Of course, if she did find out that her parents were also a huge issue like Mr. Touta was, then maybe she'd reconsider her choice.
