Luo Yi kneeled on the floor, her knees touching the cold, hard ground. Her body shook, trembling to the point where her jewelry started shaking. Her eyes widened in terror as her sight remained trained on the ground. Her hands were clenched underneath her sleeves, twisting and turning into a ball.
"Do you know your wrongs?" a cold voice asked from above. Bai Zhenli leaned against his propped hands and crossed his legs. He looked at Luo Yi without a trace of compassion.
"No, Your Majesty," Luo Yi stuttered out a reply. A bead of sweat dripped from her forehead. In her heart, she had already guessed what he was talking about.
Bai Zhenli sneered. "Really?"
He stood up and walked over to her side. Luo Yi's heart beat in trepidation, a dull thud in her chest echoed along with his every footstep. As he reached her side, Luo Yi immediately slammed herself to the ground.
