Chapter 36 Nessa's fate

inside a factory building with big windows. Three people are clashing.

Nessa ran straight towards Rose. Seeing this, Rose tried to evade him by going off to the side.

After realizing that Rose caught on to what she was about to do, Nessa stopped in her tracks before punching the air in front of her.

The effect was as you would expect; nothing happened. But, after a blink of an eye, the area around Nessa's shoulder began to glow a hot orange color.

And, after another blink, a shockwave formed in front of Nessa that seemed to shake the entire building.

Rose managed to jump to the side just in time to evade the incoming attack. But, the shockwave couldn't be evaded fully.

Rose felt like her body was being crushed due to the force of the shockwave. It sent her flying off to the side.

Rose's body bounced off the ground from the impact, but she quickly picked herself up and stood her ground.

Rose aimed her gun towards Nessa with a look of determination in her eyes.

But, before Rose could pull the trigger, Nessa was already in her face, ready to punch her in the nose.

Suddenly, a wave of purple ice met Nessa's body, which then sent her flying off to the side wall.

Nessa picked herself up almost immediately and stared in the direction that the ice came from.

The path of ice that hit her led to a pile of rubble, with an arm holding an axe poking out.

A few moments later, the rubble began to move. A figure buried in the rubble rose up, and met Nessa's gaze with their purple eyes.

It was Hela. She pulled herself off of the rumble with only a few scratches and bruises on her.

Without sparing a breath, Nessa attacked again with a shockwave punch towards both Hela and Rose.

Rose braced and lowered herself to the ground, awaiting the impact, since it was too late to dodge.

With a single motion, Hela moved her axe in such a fashion that it caused a wave of purplish flame to appear and block both herself and Rose from Nessa's attack.

The flame rapidly froze into a crystal like material, which still retained the form of the flame.

Soon after, the shockwave hit, but thanks to Hela's action, both she and Rose only felt a violent gust of wind hit them.

Soon after experiencing the shockwave, the ice formation crumbled due to the force.

Rose quickly took this opportunity, and shot her gun once she saw Nessa's figure.

The gun sucked in air before shooting a golden ball towards Nessa. Nessa reacted by bending down and digging her fingers into the stone floor.

Nessa took a breath before lifting a piece of the floor, blocking the projectile Rose fired at her.

The golden ball made a dent in the now upright floor tile.

With the floor she dug up still upright, Nessa drew her fist back, before sending another shockwave into the floor piece.

The floor piece shattered into countless pieces of debris and flew towards Rose. Rose quickly picked up a chunk of ice off of the ground, and held it in front of her torso as she tucked her head lower to protect it.

Soon after, the shockwave and debris hit her.

The shockwave lifted her off the ground and sent her flying backwards.

The debris flying at her, thankfully, got blocked by the chunk of ice that Rose held, but her exposed legs still got hit and bled.

Rose tumbled onto the ground as she recovered from the impact she had just taken.

Hela then charged Nessa with her axe, out and ready. Nessa did the same, and charged her full force.

Hela swung her axe upwards when they were close enough, causing a purplish ice to form and fall on Nessa.

Nessa jumped and flipped herself to the side as she sent a mini shockwave punch to the ice formation, destroying it.

Now that they were at close range, they began attacking each other.

Hela swung her axe horizontally towards Nessa. Nessa dodged it by ducking, before countering with a blow to Hela's midsection.

Hela, who didn't even flinch, changed her grip on her axe as she changed its direction to swing downwards.

Nessa quickly dodged it by sliding to the side. She then tried to counter with a punch towards Hela's face.

But, all of a sudden, Hela shifted her grip on her axe, which was now swinging horizontally.

Nessa saw this and figured out that the blade of Hela's axe was heading straight for her neck.

Nessa retracted her punch as she moved closer towards Hela. Nessa then raised her guard, taking only the shaft of Hela's axe, thanks to her moving closer.

Just as she blocked Hela's attack, Nessa's eyes landed on the lizard-like design on Hela's axe head.

The lizard, which seemed to growl at her, then released a fiery wind towards Nessa. Nessa quickly retreated away from Hela, as her wrist touched the fiery wind.

Nessa kept her distance as she observed the wrist that got hit. Her wrist had a burn mark and a few ice pieces forming on it.

Nessa swiped the ice that formed on her wrist with her other hand as she returned her attention towards Hela.

Hela, meanwhile, was standing between Nessa and Rose, who was still recovering from the attack earlier.

Nessa exhaled a deep breath before she charged Hela again. Once Nessa was close enough, Hela brought down her axe in a downward motion.

The axe hit Nessa's shoulder, which unexpectedly caused a metal clanging noise. The axe continued to move downwards Nessa's shoulder, ripping apart the clothing that is on it, revealing a metal apparatus wrapped around Nessa's shoulder.

Nessa took this chance and lowered herself. She then punched Hela again in the abdomen.

A blink later, the metal apparatus on Nessa's shoulder glowed an orange color as a shockwave began to form on her fist.

Just as Hela began to experience the impact and the shockwave, Nessa then sent another punch with her other fist.

Like the one before, Nessa's other shoulder began to glow an orange color as a shockwave formed on her other fist.

Now, with two shockwaves to deal with, Hela's body was sent flying backwards and into the wall.

During her flight, she dropped her axe in midair, which landed beside Rose. When Rose saw this, she instinctively reached for the axe.

But, before she could reach it, Nessa grabbed her by the neck and lifted her in the air, causing her to drop her gun.

Rose struggled to try and get free from Nessa's grasp, but it was futile.

Nessa then gripped tighter, causing Rose to barely be able to breathe as she struggled even further to try and set herself free.

A moment later, Hela's axe on the ground began to shake as Loki began separating itself from the axe while growling loudly.

But, before it could fully separate, Nessa grabbed it too with her other hand, which forcefully separated it from the axe.

Now with both Rose and Loki in her grasp, Nessa looked towards the direction that Hela was sent flying off to.

Hela, who was embedded in the wall, pulled herself apart from it while blood dripped from her forehead and mouth.

Hela looked at Nessa with fury in her eyes as she began charging her.

"Stop right there, Wildfire!" Nessa said loudly, causing Hela to stop.

I have the advantage here. If you don't want this girl to die, I say you better keep your distance. " Nessa continued, as she shook her hand, which held Rose.

Rose, whose face was turning red, kept on struggling, even kicking Nessa, but thanks to the attack she received earlier, Rose hurt herself even more than Nessa by kicking.

Soon, Nessa spoke again. "I know you can't attack from afar since you don't have your axe, or more specifically this lizard beast."

Nessa then shook Loki in her grasp before looking at Hela again.

"You either let this girl die from suffocation or cooperate. It's your choice!" Nessa said out loud.

Hela only stood still and said nothing, while staring at Nessa.

"Answer me! I don't think this girl has much more time. " Nessa asked again while shaking Rose.

Rose, meanwhile, was beet red and punching Nessa's arm, but she doesn't have the strength anymore to fight like she used to.

"Answer me!" Nessa shouted at Hela.

Hela only stood quietly.

"Fine, then! She dies! " Nessa said before she looked at Rose's face as she gripped her neck even tighter.

But, before she could grip fully, she then noticed something was going on on her other hand. Nessa then looked to see what was happening.

"What the..." Nessa said with a confused look, as she looked at Loki.

Loki's body was about twice as big as a second ago. It also now has the shape of a wolf cub.

Before Nessa could do anything else, Loki's body released a lot of hot steam, which burned Nessa's hand.

The pain made Nessa drop Loki onto the ground as its body began to expand rapidly.

Nessa's eyes widened with shock, as Loki's body kept on expanding, almost like it wanted to swallow the building itself.

Once Loki's body was big enough, it stopped expanding. A second later, its skin began to transform into a fur-like texture.

Loki's head, which now resembled a giant wolf's head, lay beside Nessa with its eyes closed.

A moment after, it's skin transformed fully into fur. Loki opened it's eyes, revealing a pair of wolf eyes to match it's current body.

Loki's wolf body is so big that it made the big open workshop look like a small room.

Its body pushed against the wall, causing it to crack. It's so tall that it has its legs bent down in order to fit into the building.

Loki's wolf eyes then moved to look at Nessa. The eyes are so huge that a single eyeball is taller than Nessa.

Nessa felt her heart drop as she met the terrifying wolf glare. Due to the fact that she felt so intimidated, she unconsciously loosened her grip on Rose's neck, causing Rose to be able to breathe again.

Rose inhaled deeply, as she was allowed to breathe again, but she was still unable to get free from Nessa's grasp.

While Rose was catching her breath, Loki stared at Nessa with it's big wolf eyes.

Loki then bared its teeth and emitted a low, loud snarl at the terrified Nessa.
