Inside a multi-story building with a red flag on top. A lot of movement is occurring.
"Come on, failure. You can move faster than that! " The woman with knives on her hands cheered as she disappeared into a corner.
Morgan, who is a few steps behind her, was chasing her through the corridors of what looked to be a hotel of sorts.
Morgan went around the same corner that the woman disappeared into, with her bow drawn.
She did a quick search with her eyes, and found that the woman had evaporated into thin air.
Morgan returned to a neutral stance as she observed her surroundings.
"Too slow. Hahaha! " The woman taunted as her voice echoed through the halls.
Morgan's expression remained blank, as she continued to observe and listen to her surroundings.
"Hahaha!" The woman's laugh continued to echo for a good minute before continuing without stopping.
The meter on Morgan's bow reaches the first bar of orange.
Morgan's ears perked up as they picked up a different noise other than the woman's laugh; a wooden floor creaking where she came from.
Morgan quickly readied her bow and aimed behind her, where the creaking was coming from.
Morgan held her pose as the noise came even closer. Then, a figure went around the corner where she was aiming at. It was a young girl. Amber, to be exact, with a stick in her hands.
Amber was huffing and puffing as she ran across the corridor. Her tired eyes landed on Morgan, who withdrew her bow.
Amber jogged towards Morgan and asked her while still breathing heavily. "Where... did she... go?"
Instead of Morgan, the woman spoke while still hiding herself. "Oh, be careful not to hit each other now."
The woman then continued to laugh again.
"Annoy... ing." Amber said, placing her hands on her knees as she continued to breathe heavily.
Morgan looked at Amber with a blank, emotionless face as she pressed a single finger onto her mouth.
Amber raised a thumbs up as she crumbled to the floor and laid her back against a wall. laying her weapon down by her side
Morgan listened intently to the woman's laughter, which didn't seem to have a plan to stop any moment right now.
Morgan walked over to a wall on the other side of the hall, and pressed her ears against it.
She remained like this for a moment, before drawing her bow and aiming it straight at the wall.
Amber looked with curiosity as she continued to catch her breath.
Then, a moment later, Morgan fired an arrow, which went straight through the wall with ease.
A few moments later, the woman's laughter stopped as she shouted. "Woah! You almost hit me, you crazy bitch! "
A heartbeat after the woman said that, Morgan began to run towards the direction where she shot the arrow.
Seeing this, Amber stood up with the help of her stick, also known as her weapon.
"Wai-wait up." She said it in a weak voice as she ran after Morgan.
Morgan ran around the building, went around a corner, and saw a blue arrow embedded in a wall, with the wall parallel to it and a hole in it.
After seeing this, Morgan inspected the hall that she was in.
The hall looks the same as the others in the building. Wood walls, wood flooring, and wood ceilings. Only this time, the halls end with a wall.
It had a dirty old carpet adorning the hard wood floor. A couple of paintings color the blank, brown wall.
The occasional dusty table and chairs on the side by the windows.
Morgan inspected the old carpet first, and saw a barely recognizable footprint in the carpet riddled with dust.
Morgan followed the footprints further down the hall. Morgan then drew her bow and held it like a spear, with the sharp end pointing towards the carpet.
A second later, Morgan stabbed the carpet beneath her as she moved out of the way. She then slowly lifted the blade of the floor with the carpet still attached to it.
After a second of thought from Morgan, she then threw the carpet off of her blade and on to the side, causing the entire carpet to move and release dust everywhere.
Morgan covered her mouth with her free hand as she closed her eyes and listened to her surroundings.
"(*cough*" A second later, after Morgan closed her eyes, she heard a slight cough further down the hall.
Morgan then slowly walked down the hall with her bow in the form of a spear, ready in her hands.
Morgan gazed upon a set of tables and chairs off to the side, filled with dust.
Upon closer inspection, she saw a slight disturbance in the dust on the table. It was like someone unconsciously dragged their hand on the table as they moved past it.
After seeing this, Morgan then turned her attention to the paintings on the wall. None of them are particularly noteworthy; they are simply ordinary paintings that can be found anywhere.
Morgan lifted her spear and stabbed it slightly into the wall. After adjusting her grip, she continued to walk down the halls with her bow slicing through the walls.
After knocking down a few paintings on the way, Morgan was approaching the end of the hallway.
But then, suddenly, Morgan felt a change in her bow. Morgan looked at it with a blank stare and found that it had gotten itself stuck to something.
Morgan twisted it a little bit, and found out that it had managed to get itself into a dip in the wall.
Morgan held it with both of her hands as she pulled it out with force.
Almost like she put too much force into it, she lost her balance for a moment before placing her foot firmly onto the floor, securing her balance.
Morgan looked at the spear in her hand with her emotionless eyes before turning her attention back towards the wall where she retrieved it from.
Without a second thought, Morgan stabbed the wall again. Morgan's mind then clicked, as she realized that the wall felt different than a normal wall. It felt hollow.
Without a moment to waste, Morgan retrieved her bow before kicking the wall down.
This caused the wall to fall down and caused a lot of dust to be displaced.
The now gaping hole in the wall revealed that the section of the wall Morgan knocked down seemed to have been haphazardly separated from the rest of the wall with a sharp object.
Morgan's emotionless eyes flickered with a glow as she headed towards the hole in the wall.
The hole led to a normal private bedroom, like the ones you would find in a hotel.
After a heartbeat, Morgan raised her bow in the shape of a spear and began slicing apart the walls of the room.
After a few seconds, Morgan found another facade wall, and like the first one, she kicked it down immediately before heading through.
She emerged into another room, almost the same as the one she was in.
Without a breath to spare, Morgan immediately began slicing up the walls before finding another facade. She then kicked it down before heading through it again.
She repeated this process multiple times before arriving at a room and hearing "Shit, she caught on fast." in a low whispering voice through the wall.
Morgan's entire body snapped towards the direction where the voice came from.
She slammed into the wall with her shoulder, which seemed to be another facade, causing it to fall down.
"Shit!" A familiar woman's voice cursed as a few footsteps echoed through the halls.
Reacting to this, Morgan hurried herself up as she continued to find facade walls and knocked them down by slamming into them.
Room after room, Morgan smashed through the walls, reaching closer to the source of the footsteps.
After entering another room, Morgan immediately slashed around and slammed herself into another wall.
Only this time, the wall she slammed into was not a facade, but instead a real wooden wall with bracing.
This didn't stop Morgan, who used enough force to drive herself through the wooden wall.
Morgan tumbled and fell to the ground due to the unexpected resistance she experienced.
She didn't dwell on the pain in her shoulder that much as she quickly picked herself up and went out the door.
She found herself in a corridor, and at the corner of her eye, she saw movement going around the corner.
Morgan immediately followed and went around the corner herself.
Once she went around the corner, she saw the woman with the knives running with all her might.
"Dammit!" The woman shouted as she realized she was now being followed by Morgan.
She quickly went around the first turn she encountered, with Morgan hot in pursuit.
They ran around the building until they found themselves at the end of the hallway.
"Huff, I guess that's enough running." As sweat dripped down her cheeks, the woman said.
She then turned around to face Morgan with her knives fully drawn.
Morgan, who was also sweating from all the running, faced her with her bow out as she kept her distance from the woman.
